We would recommend this for people who want to have a massage gun that can relieve slight pain in muscles, break lactic acid build-up, or just get a much needed session after a long day at the office. You’ll find the very reasonable stall force quite useful (we estimate it at upper 20s lbs, if not 30lbs.)

The Hypervolt has five head attachments: a fork, ball, cushion, flat and bullet head. It also has a three-hour battery life and is TSA-friendly, so you can take it with you while traveling. The Hypervolt 2 has Bluetooth capability and connects to the Hyperice app, which is available for iPhones and Androids. The Elite has five attachments: a dampener, standard ball, wedge, thumb and a cone. The Elite lets you access preset guided routines from the Therabody app (available for iPhone and Android) in case you need help getting started with your massage gun. Even though they advertise a 12mm amplitude, we measured 9mm stroke. This is just like the Sharper Image’s amplitude, but because this Taotronics has more stall force, it feels stronger and somewhat better balanced in terms of power. The Opove M3 Pro has an impressive battery life of up to eight hours on a single charge, which was the highest capacity among those I tested. That means you can charge it once without doing so again for weeks, depending on how often you use it.

First, we’ve not seen that design before the mini 1.0. It’s interesting to hold as well. But it’s not our favorite hold. We’re just not sure if this kind of handle is the best for a massage gun. Massage guns look incredibly similar from one model to the next, but small differences can greatly affect your experience. To help you choose the right massage gun, I spoke with ACE-certified personal trainer and health coach Stephanie Thomas, as well as doctor of physical therapy for Mobility Doc in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Chloe Costigan, to gain useful insights. It won’t offer you the best in power but it’s very low-priced.But we did notice it gets louder after a few dozen sessions. We observed rattles, vibrations, and some creaking noise. Renpho chose to give their customers something that’ll give them peace of mind. Many minis don’t come close. It has 4 speed gears which we think is just enough.
