About this deal

Even though the Eat Real crisps may always seem a bit random at first, I can tell you that no matter what they are, or what flavour… they ALWAYS taste unreal.

Because bees are not exploited for their honey by vegans, honey is a non-vegan component of Pom Bear Salt & Vinegar. Because honey is no longer valued, the bees are taken advantage of due to this change. Ingredients that raise questions 1. Sugar Those seeking a higher end alternative to standard salt and vinegar crisps will be pleased with these, especially as they are significantly cheaper than the likes of Kettle Chips. accidentally’ gluten-free products in Aldi – including aaaall the Specialbuys. Are Pom Bears Halal

One of the oldest and best-loved ridge cut crisps, the following McCoy’s flavours are vegan: Salted, Salt & Malt Vinegar, Paprika, and Hot Mexican Chilli

Whoever designed this flavour clearly understood how to maximise the chances of someone devouring a whole tube in one sitting. Dangerously tasty. Numerous vegans are upset about this and have avoided many desserts since they don’t know where the sugar in them came from. The origin of the sugar in Pom Bears is not made clear, but even the Original flavor may contain refined cane sugar, rendering it unsuitable for vegans. Beet sugar, the second most popular type of sugar, is safe for vegans to consume. 2. Natural flavorings Max Sizzling Flame Grilled Steak– Butter extract and dried milk whey are the problems here with no steaks to be found amongst the ingredientsThe second component that makes people raise an eyebrow is natural flavors since food companies are not obligated to disclose what they put in them. Because of this, natural flavorings might include chemicals unsuitable for vegans. Now branded as Walkers, though previously a mainstay of Smith’s, the rather novel Salt & Shake concept was particularly popular in the days before parents realised that encouraging kids to put extra salt on their crisps maybe wasn’t a great idea. Still enjoying a small niche market, there is little between these and the Tesco version (other than the price). Both the Lightly Salted and the Sea Salt & Balsamic Vinegar flavoured Veg Chips are fine for vegans. I’ve tried these multiple times and you absolutely can’t go wrong. 5. BFree Pitta Breads Stone Baked The vegan community is passionate about the issue of sugar for several reasons. While sugar does not include animal products, several uses make it non-vegan-friendly.

Did you know that some brands of vanilla extract use beaver butt gunk? According to a National Geographic article, this is quite common. It makes you wonder what other hidden substances might be present in these extracts. 3. Mono-and diglycerides of fatty acidsDeli Sweet Chilli With Dorset Sour Cream– With sour cream powder from milk, these are no good for vegans The use of mono- and diglycerides is highly debated as they can be sourced from plants and animals.
