Yet another high-performance flashlight by ACEBEAM, the X75 Micro-Arc, is a rendition of the classic X75. Most of those LEDs can only produce a few hundred lumens, and are not built to sustain their output. The LEDs used in the X75 are CREE XHP70.2 (and XHP70.3 are also available), which can produce thousands of lumens each. So, if you add 12 of them, you could realistically reach 80,000 lumens. Albeit very brief. And the one I am testing is the 5000K version (neutral white). You won’t have to worry about getting the Acebeam X75 wet in the rain or even dropping it in the river. It won’t malfunction because you use it outdoors on a rainy night! Performance and Beam Distance All output numbers are relative to my homemade Integrating Sphere. It is set up with an Extech SDL400 Lux Meter for measurements. And I used the following ND filters: Kenko PRO1D ND-16 filter, Hoya PRO ND100, and a Gobe ND32. The base measurement is done with a Convoy S2+ that has been tested at 249 lumens. This is the first review where I use the base calculation at 249 lumens instead of the 255 lumens it was originally bought as.

Beyond the headline 80,000-lumen Turbo mode, the superior cooling system allows it to outperform the competition and provide 20,000 lumens for 30 minutes. After doing our research, we were extremely excited to get our hands on this flashlight and eagerly waited for its delivery to test this light out for ourselves. You won’t have to worry about replacing batteries and buying new batteries every time you want to use the flashlight.Even for LEDs, the high output of this light produces significant heat and Acebeam uses a fan to actively air-cool the light. Vents in the side let the fan pull air in through the base, blow it over the heat sink, and push it out through the top vents. lumens is still so very bright that it makes a regular AA torch light look like a toy in comparison to this monster. The Acebeam X75 is a POWERFUL light source that has some fantastic features. We don’t know how you stumbled onto the Acebeam X75. Maybe a friend told you about this flashlight, or you found it surfing the web. However, you need the whole low down about this flashlight. Directly in front of the main switch is the auxiliary button (which, confusingly, is actually considerably bigger than the ‘main’ one), and pressing this also activates the Turbo boost feature, but only briefly (for 30 seconds). This button can also be used to control the fan, which is housed just beneath the head of the torch, and works to keep temperatures under control.
