I followed the instructions carefully and used ethyl alcohol to degrease a chip on a ceramic sink. I left the compound in place for 12 hours and then very slowly sandpapered the surface ...do not rush this bit or you can have pullout. I really took my time and then used the finest paper (supplied in the kit) which polishes the surface. The chip is virtually invisible. Needless to say I was pleased. Its a good product .but you really have to take your time.
