We've added a setting to the Scarlett Solo 4th Gen which combines both input channels to allow applications that can usually only receive one input to receive both inputs (line/inst and mic).
If you are not able to see your Focusrite interface in Focusrite Control , you may see one of two error messages : If you are using a Clarett Thunderbolt in terface then please ensure you have allowed the driver to load as per this article . If your i nterface is showing correctly in Device Manager but Focusrite Control still displays No Hardware Connected, please complete the following instructions : Turn ideas into records. To show this mode is enabled, the channel number LEDs both light green (they are white by default). The service will not quit and will remain in Activity Monitor. The 4 th Generation of Scarlett includes audio meters on each gain pot, keeping you in the know of how much headroom you have. Even better, why touch them? With the Auto setting you can play for 10 seconds and Scarlett will automatically set the gain, you can even leave it on safe mode meaning you’ll never clip your signal again. If your interface is being seen at a hardware level, your interface model will be displayed in the main window as shown below.
