Currently, Brasserie d’Achouffe brews several thousand hectolitres of beer per year and the iconic gnome logo can be found in more than 40 different countries. Into the glass filled the La Chouffe by is a reminder of the colour and the foam to get a little champagne at a time. Please note that we are not IOSS registered due to the nature of our products (alcoholic beverages). La Chouffe ’40’: citrus notes, followed by a refreshing touch, pleasantly spiced to give it great brightness.

This golden beer, with its light taste of hops, was the very first to come out of the La chouffe brewery’s vats 40 years ago. In the unlikely event of any broken glass we would recommend to leave the broken glass in the box and only extract those bottles that are undamaged.The distinctive on the bottles this is the Bier 'brewery Gnome allowing you to place it anywhere to make out and is symbol of Achouffe. It is an ‘Indian Pale Ale’ type of beer, with a harmonious balance between a marked bitterness (three types of hops are used to make it) and a pleasant fruitiness.

For deliveries to the USA please note that due to severe restrictions by courier companies, the maximum amount of liquid that can be sent is 75cl per consignment. Founders and brothers-in-law, Chris Bauweraerts and Pierre Gobron, brewed their first batch in 1980 with a starting capital of just €5,000.
