In other words, if the printer is set up to use USB, you must launch the Printer Setting Tool to reconfigure the QL-810W to use Wireless Direct. At that point, the printer is no longer accessible via USB. A feature that the QL-810W has that the QL-820NWB does not, though, is P-touch Editor Lite, a program that resides in the machine's firmware and doesn't require you to install software or drivers on your PC.
