Fit is very good, and the tweaked design feels a lot less intrusive than some in-ears. Apple has finally added on-bud volume controls, which takes the user experience up a level too. Better noise cancellation can be found elsewhere, and some may find the fit a bit fiddly, but neither issue prevents the EAH-AZ80 getting a big thumbs up from us.

The Apple AirPods Pro Truly Wireless are the predecessor to the Apple AirPods Pro (2nd generation) Truly Wireless. While both earbuds have the same premium build quality, the original model doesn't have as good an ANC performance as their successor. They don't have as long-lasting a battery as the second-generation model and can't reproduce as much low-bass. However, the first generation have a more neutral sound profile out of the box, which some users may prefer since you can't adjust the EQ settings. The Samsung Galaxy Buds+ Truly Wireless are the best wireless earbuds for sound quality that we've tested. These headphones are a great choice for listening to all sorts of genres thanks to their neutral and balanced sound, which is more versatile than the similarly-priced Google Pixel Buds Pro Truly Wireless. Whether you're listening to bass-heavy genres like EDM or vocal-centric content like folk music, these buds reproduce voices and lead instruments with great clarity and accuracy. If you want to switch up their sound, there are a couple of different EQ presets in their app, too. Our only complaints are that the buds don’t come with a Find My Buds function, something Sony should be able to add via software update, and the unstable fit provided by the memory foam tips. Other than that, the WF-1000XM4 is as close to perfect as you’re going to get in the category.
