About this deal

Follow the Truth is a true crime podcast re-investigating the murder of Michael Jordan’s dad, James R. The dossiers which will go to the police (and importantly, the layman’s summary, written by the coordinating doctor) does contain ‘truth’ but not the ‘whole truth’. The fact the investigation took so long and it took numerous attempts to charge her means to me there's no smoking gun. District Judge Michael Wendell quashed the indictment for lack of evidence, and the district attorney’s office chose not to appeal.

Son of legendary surfboard designer, Bob McTavish, Jesse grew up with a love of surfing, fishing and a deep respect for the ocean. They said he had failed to draw the jury’s attention to Sister McTavish’s version of events, and the fact that she had denied making any admission to the police. When the testimony began a couple of days ago I saw a big swing of feelings towards guilty initially, but again it hasn't held up as I think BM did successfully cast doubt on the care received and muddled the issues of the timings just enough. Dr Emma Ward, a colleague, grew suspicious after one of the women fell seriously ill while under Norris's care and she alerted the authorities, who discovered that the nurse had already killed three times and tried to murder another patient. In 2003, she was sentenced to life imprisonment for four murders and three attempted murders of patients in her care. The FBI launched an investigation into the matter due to its suspicious jump from monthly averages at the hospital, and eventually accused two Filipina nurses recently immigrated to the U.

NHS and Social Care employees that have complaints regarding pay, hours, bullying (unless as a direct result of whistleblowing) and general grievances would need to raise their complaints using their organisations grievance procedure.

If a person wishes to raise their concerns they should obtain a copy of their organsiations whistleblowing policy and seek advice. During questioning, he told officers he "seemed to have been unlucky over the last 12 months" but denied murdering patients. Of course, when Norris stood trial, the press made much of him originating from the same area of Glasgow as Sister Jessie McTavish did and of him apparently practicing the same random euthanasia as she was said to have done in the course of one crazy week in 1973. She said such placebos were regularly used for psychological reasons, especially on elderly patients.

It was alleged that between December 2003 and February 2004, at least 17 patients suffered respiratory arrests for unknown reasons, and Geen was on duty during these incidents. Colin Campbell Norris (12 February 1976, Glasgow) is a nurse from the Milton area in Glasgow, Scotland who was convicted of murdering four elderly patients in a hospital in Leeds, England, in 2002. Despite DeSalvo's full confession and imprisonment, authorities would never put him on trial for the actual murders. It was after sourcing and selling incredible ingredients he saw a gap in the market: making the produce usually only found in fine dining restaurants accessible to everyone. The convictions were upheld at appeal in October 2000, but overturned in a second appeal in January 2003, after it emerged that Dr Alan Williams, the prosecution forensic pathologist who examined both of her babies, had incompetently failed to disclose microbiological reports that suggested the second of her sons had died of natural causes. I argue in my book that it is not easier to detect a medico-killer now since Shipman, but it is much more difficult for an innocent person to defend themselves once accused of medico-murder. The Royal Statistical Society later issued a statement arguing that there was “no statistical basis” for Meadow’s claim, and expressing its concern at the “misuse of statistics in the courts”.
