Both are co-stars working on an upcoming broadway show. I really liked the concept of them fake- dating and all that. They had really cute moments that definitely stood out. But again them falling in love really fast kind of ruined it just a little. But if readers who are looking for something fast then this book is definitely for you!!!

I understand how Verena's career played into the plot, but I just did not like her being a reality show star. Just a designer would have been better. I don’t usually skip books but for this one I skipped the first book because I saw a tiktok about it. This book was alright, didn’t feel as though there wasn’t anything special about it. It was just a plain-o spicy book. I have a personal preference where I don’t prefer books that are insta-lust unless i’m in need of getting out of a reading slump, so personally I think if the book was more slow paced and the characters had more development I would have enjoyed this book 10x better.I don't know, maybe it's me but maybe this book just needs more changing but I just didn't like the book. If you can stomach a plot that could easily have been avoided with communication skills, you’ll find a pleasant steamy enemies to lovers story inside. Without over analyzing this book was a great read that kept your attention the whole way through and had a great HEA. This is my first book by this author, I really do have a bad habit for not reading the previous books in the series when I see it can be read as a standalone - don’t get me wrong that was true with this book too but you also know that the previous couple are now together so they are obviously all going to be interconnected.
