About this deal

The Chaos Space Marine army consists of: 1 Warpsmith; 1 Forgefiend; 1 Chosen unit containing 5 models. Finally, we arrive at the only figure in the box that isn’t completely new: the Forgefiend (or the Maulerfiend, if you chose to build one of those). It’s also worth mentioning that the latest AoS Box set, Fury of the Deep, as well as the new Kill Team Starter Set both came with condensed or “mini” versions of each game system’s rules. The Eldar on the other hand, can’t wait to slap some paint in those shinies. Sadly, while it must’ve been 30 years or so since last time I painted one, I’ve always loved the design of the models. Still remember the sleek lines of the Phantom Titans. If I remember correctly I did use the old GW metal purple for the wings on one. 😜 Last Eldar model I bought must’ve been when they released the metal Phoenix Lord’s. Darn, it’s been a long time, aka I’m old. 🤯 These hulking brutes are less delicate than their teammates, but bring some much-needed punch to the Skaven roster.

We had been hearing rumors of a new Chaos Space Marines and an Eldar Aeldari Craftworlds Box set for a while now, most notably from day 3 of the leaks from the Aeldari discord. Shuriken Weapons get a funky new AP bonus on 6’s to wound now. Note that the Rangers are using “Ranger Long Rifles” that don’t have the Shuriken keyword. But they do have Shuriken Pistols… The Warhammer Live team continues to delight with Hang Out and Hobby, answer your questions in the Hobby Clinic, and catch the best miniatures from around the web in the Hobby Roundup, all available on The Warhammer Twitch Channel. That all seems set to change in 2022, with the new Eldritch Omens box coming in hard as the precursor to a major range re-launch for the Aeldari. Whilst there’s no word on any future Chaos releases just yet, 2022 is shaping up to be a good year for new Warhammer, so I suppose we’ll just have to be patient and see what happens. Warhammer 40,000: Eldritch Omens Review – Unboxing There are 2 sprues are for the Forgefiend/Maulerfiend, 1 for the Autarch, 1 for the Warpsmith, 1 for the Chosen, 1 for the Shroud Runners and 1 for the Rangers.Beyond that, there’s the Maulerfiend (which can also be built as a Forgefiend), and two generous transfer sheets, one for the Craftworlds and one for Heretic Astartes, with 379 and 364 transfers respectively. These include the emblems of all the major Craftworlds and unaligned Chaos legions, so you can customise the force to suit your tastes and allegiances. We will update when we know for certain at 10am on Saturday (February 5th) Morning, if we don’t see beforehand. Remember though, you can usually get around 20% off (at least in the UK) whatever the retail price is at a local or online FLGS.

And in preparation for the imminent arrival of the T’au, there’s also a battle report between these technological expansionists and the most covert of the Space Marine chapters, the Raven Guard. Find out how the Astartes fare when hiding from the big guns. The Asuryani army consists of: 1 Autarch; 1 Rangers unit containing 5 models; 1 Shroud Runners unit containing 3 models. You’ve got everything you need to play out the Octarius War on the tabletop, now it’s time to read all about it from the perspective of the dour Death Korps of Krieg. Rangers retain their role as a sneaky Troop option for the Craftworlds, but upgraded to bring them in line with other snipers and scouts. They’re now popping off shots at a base BS2+, meaning that they can still hit on 3s if you’ve got them on the move for Battle Focus shenanigans, and their rifles get AP-1 now (while still being able to snipe and deal mortals on 6s to wound), meaning they’re a little more threatening to targets than they were. But here, it’s not just 2 new minis. In fact, the only mini in this box that isn’t new, is the Forge/Mauler Fiend, and that’s an impressive beast on its own.All of the Wargear options are similarly sweet with some great options changing the model to a completely new one. Not to mention they are perfectly on theme! As was expected, the aura was changed to only affect CORE units, but that’s the same for every new and updated faction for 9th edition. If 2+ Transmit actions have been completed but the Autarch has been destroyed, the battle is a draw. We’d like to thank Games Workshop for sending us a review copy of Eldritch Omens. Craftworlds General Massive thanks to Games Workshop for sending us an early review copy to unbox, paint up and review for you guys!

You’ll be able to recreate the clash between these two champions with the Eldritch Omens booklet, which includes two new missions as well as Crusade rules for both warbands – allowing D’vok to develop Sentient Mechatendrils or Ghaelyn to claim the vengeful Exile Glaive. 5. The Rest of the Box (and When You Can Get It) Here are all the new Eldritch Omens Eldar (Aeldari Craftworlds) and Chaos Space Marines Battle box set for Warhammer 40k- rumors and reveals!

Warhammer 40K

Anyone who is anyone in Blood Bowl knows that Skaven teams sow fear with speed and cunning, rather than big muscles and raw violence. This assumption wrong-foots teams who aren’t ready to face off against Rat Ogres. This tome covers all the key Kill Team rules for both the Ork Kommandos and the Veteran Guardsman, detailing rare equipment, tactical ploys, and a range of battlefield roles. In his first ever Warhammer novel, acclaimed science fiction author Adrian Tchaikovsky turns his many hands to a tale from a unique perspective, as the Forge World of Morod prepares for the alien “angels” who will bring mercy to the masses. So far it looks like two different head options, as well as two weapon bits, can be attached to his mighty hilt of smite-ing the followers of the False Emperor. Chaos Space Marines Plastic Miniatures In Eldritch Omens On the Run is the first of the narrative missions included in this booklet. It allows both players to use the miniatures found in Warhammer 40,000: Eldritch Omens to recreate the escape of Autarch Ghaelyn from the fortress of warpsmith D’Vok. If this mission is played as part of a Crusade battle, then the mission bonus is in use.

The Chaos Marines get a power axe with Sx2 AP-2 and D2 which increases to D3 if the target has a 3+ save or better, which is especially nice with all the damage reducing abilities we see recently. Their other relic is a tasty 2D3 hit flamer with S5 Ap-1 and 2 damage! While I don’t overly care about the CSM it’ll be fun to paint them, since it’s something I’ve actually never done, or it was so long ago I can’t remember doing it. 🙈 Maybe a traitor version of Space Wolves, that could be fun. This is the exact same Warpsmith you already know and don’t bring in your lists, with T4, 4 wounds, a 2+ save, and no invulnerable save. He comes with a meltagun, flamer, mechatendrils, and a power axe, and in a new development, now comes with a plasma pistol instead of a bolt pistol. Also, he can now trade out his power axe for a thunder hammer. Anyone who’s played Chaos Space marines in 8th/9th knows that this is a stupid mistake, as taking -1 to hit turns off the extra hits for Death to the False Emperor and besides, there isn’t a ton of value in actually giving a thunder hammer to a character who starts with WS 3+. Still, I’ve given the Warpsmith a thunder hammer on the model I built because there’s so little value in taking him I may as well take the cool-looking new option. Starting with the Eldar 40k rules datasheets from the Eldrich Omens box set, the Autarch basically is a brand new unit! From their previous 2 weapon loadout, they know have access to 8 different choices that each provide different benefits and functions to completely change the dynamic of the model in the list.
