About this deal

Chekhov's Gun: The bomb Fran implanted in Veronica is later used to blow up Gavrill. Even Fran is unconvinced that killed her, and she's proven right. A recurring minor character; A female police officer who crosses paths with Fran and/or the results of Fran's experiments several times.

Ax-Crazy: Gavrill. Not only does she love tearing people to shreds, she also likes to eat their corpses. After Dr. Amatsuka prevented her from killing anyone during her time as a school teacher, she was absolutely delighted when the school was taken over by a group of kidnappers, allowing her to finally unleash her lust for bloodshed. The protagonist of the manga, Fran lives at the Madaraki estate. Though she is often mistaken for Naomitsu Madaraki's daughter, she is actually his greatest "masterpiece." She is fitted with two sizable bolts upon her temples and marred with faint stitches, giving her a distinctly inhuman appearance. She has a unique view of morality, finding certain cases emotionally moving and experimenting out of the goodness of her heart.

Inverted. Fran is usually pretty happy to do operations, but when you want do it to impress someone you like, she starts breaking into Tender Tears. It seems like she's really into The Power of Love... Frankenstein's Monster: Very similar visually, with the stitches and the head bolts. Frankly, she even makes her own monsters, thus she also counts as a Dr. Fakenstein. Artificial Human: Like all of Madaraki's creations, Fran is a human made out of multiple body parts which are simply pointed out by the stitches. Our Sphinxes Are Different: He is technically a sphinx considering he has a feline body with a humanoid head.

Butt-Monkey: Things rarely ever go well for her and is usually played for comedy, with a few exceptions. There is a fair amount of dark humor with nearly each story ending with Fran either creating a gruesome monstrosity or bringing some kind of misfortune upon her patients, though usually she is seemingly content with the results due to her extreme life-preserving mindset. Continuity is often rather loose, as individual chapters rarely reference one another. Though recurring characters outside the main cast do exist, arc-based storylines are practically nonexistent. Creepy Mascot Suit: One issue had a virus that turned people into zombies, pretty standard, right? Well, what wasn't was that their bodies transformed into mascot costumes. Brother–Sister Incest: In "Octopus", Kusinoki has sex with a shape-shifting octopus-human hybrid who took the appearance of his recently-deceased sister Azusa, though he does mention he always wanted to do this with his real sister. His body is used as nourishment for the hybrid's thousands of offspring.Unhappy Birthday - Fran attends a party in her creator's place. The happy celebration of a young girl's birthday is ruined when Fran reveals that all the food that the guests have been eating were the body of the birthday girl. She shows everyone that it was somehow a suicide. Fake - Two mafia lords fight to inherit the wealth of their late grandfather, sending assassins to kill each other. The leader of the Royal Molton company asks Fran to create duplicates of himself for protection, but his duplicate leads his business to bankruption, while his rival, Dunbar asks Fran to make a duplicate of the grandfather's son, who would normally inherit the wealth. For Science!: People do observe that she could be her creator's replacement. Taken deeper when she split in half, as Fran L takes a bloodshot eye on others who doesn't take their jobs seriously. reason to read Manga online is the huge amount of material that is available.
