This is a list of all solicited editions currently set for release between today and December of 2021. This list details the contents and release date for each collection. Readers should keep in mind that DC often edits the contents of their solicitations before release. There have also been numerous instances where a solicited collection has had a radically altered release date or has been canceled completely. This means that this list is likely to be what is released in the future, but nothing is guaranteed. Mythology starts a new run on Detective Comics by Peter Tomasi which will continue to the end of Rebirth.

Batman: Year One gets a little too much credit for "reinventing Batman." The truth is that there were great Batman stories before Year One. This is the best you'll find from the pre-Year One era that's been collected in a TPB. And it serves as a worthwhile introduction to Hugo Strange. 16. Batman: GothicYou don’t have to read these issues to enjoy the run starting with Batman and Son, but I can promise you Morrison’s plot and reverence for Batman lore will make a lot more sense if you do. Determined to continue serving others after her military career was cut short by bigotry, Kate Kane has taken up the identity of Batwoman, leading a one-woman war on Gotham City's evil underbelly. Who or what is stealing children from the barrio, and for what vile purpose? How will Kate handle unsettling revelations about her father, Colonel Jacob Kane? And why is a certain government agency suddenly taking an interest in her? Tales of the Demon marks a more immediate introduction to Rah’s Al Ghul and Talia Al Ghul, and features the creative pairing of Denny O’Neil and Neal Adams. Note that this overlaps with the above Neal Adams artist edition.

The Caped Crusader is known for protecting the streets of Gotham from the villains who wish to cause harm. Follow along on some of his most adventurous tales in Batman: The Silver Age Omnibus Vol. 1 collecting Batman #101-116 and Detective Comics #233-257! Collects: Batman: No Man’s Land #0, Batman #573, Detective Comics #740, Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight #126, Batman #574, Detective Comics #741, and Batman: Shadow of the Bat #94 Collects: Gotham Gazette: Batman Dead? #1, Batman: Battle for the Cowl #1-3, and Gotham Gazette: Batman Alive? #1 For all intents and purposes, Grant Morrison’s extended run on Batman continues with the New 52 Batman, Inc. The series essentially continues operating as if the New 52 never happened, which is totally cool if you enjoyed Batman, Inc. to begin with.Batman Family #12–20; Detective Comics #481–499, 501–502, 505–506, 508–510, 512–519; Batgirl Special #1 Knightfall is an example of a story that overcomes the shortcomings of its art and writing, which were flawed if only because of several change-ups over its publication. The story is so essential to Batman’s character that it was the main inspiration for The Dark Knight Rises movie, further expanding its popularity and cementing it as a classic. Iconic and satisfying Bat-event, as Bane seeks to break the bat. The inspiration for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises .

DC Comics have a plethora of Omnibus titles coming down the pipe… here are a few to prepare the bank account for, come 2020. Comic Cavalcade #6–13; Sensation Comics #25–48; Wonder Woman #8–15; The Big All-American Comic Book

In this now-legendary graphic novel series that serves as the inspiration for the hit AMC television series, Jesse Custer was just a small-town preacher in Texas…until his congregation was flattened by powers beyond his control and the preacher became imbued with abilities beyond anyone's understanding. When Clark Met Bruce: A Tale from the Days of Smallville" from Superman/Batman Secret Files and Origins 2003

The name says it all. This is Batman, set a hundred years after the original's Gotham debut. Sadly, Gotham City is no better than it was a century ago. The police are still ravaged by corruption and too much of the city is gripped by poverty. But there is hope. There is a Batman. At least, that's the myth. No, this isn't Bruce Wayne at 120 years old. This is a new man in the suit, with a new Robin. But as we learn, the cape and cowl have become part of a legacy. A legacy most of Gotham has forgotten. Well, they're about to get a reminder. My Greatest Adventure #80–85; Doom Patrol #86–121; The Brave and the Bold #65; Challengers of the Unknown #48The Long Halloween is one of two 12 issue graphic novels from the creative team of Jeph Loeb & Tim Sale, where each chapter represents one month in the calendar year. I’d reiterate that these books were actually published in the 1990’s, but they deal (excellently) with Batman’s early days, as well as District Attorney Harvey Dent. Some personal favorite Batman stories in here. Collects: Batman #65, 86, 112, 113, 134, 156, 162, Detective Comics #215, 235, 247, 267, World’S Finest Comics #89 This comic isn't blind to the inherent absurdity of its premise, but it also treats that premise with a surprising level of gravitas and weight. It doesn't hurt that writer Tom King and artist Lee Weeks prove every bit the creative Dynamic Duo here that they are on King's main Batman run. There's a reason this issue is one of the few comics to earn a 10 rating from IGN. 19. Batman: The Cult Collects: Batman #7, 15, 20, 31, 37, 47, 48, 49, Detective Comics #27, 33, 38, 49, 80, Real Fact Comics #5, Star Spangled Comics #70, and World’s Finest Comics #30
