Aussie Lovers of...: Brenda - Crime/Mystery/ Thriller/Suspense 2014 - 50 Aussie Authors, 50 International Obviously, I am a big Paula Hawkins fan. In fact, she is on my top 10 list of favorite authors. What I love about her books is that I never see the end coming. However, Blind Spot is a huge disappointment. 32% into Blind Spot, I had figured out who did it and why. The Really BadNo voy a mentir, me ha enganchado desde el principio y Paula Hawkins me parece que tiene una pluma muy buena, ya que va directa al grano sin ningún tipo de rodeo, y además los capítulos son cortísimos.

Con esta autora siempre he tenido sentimientos encontrados. No me disgusta, pero sus novelas no me terminan de convencer. Hasta que llegó Punto ciego. Entiendo que haya escrito este libro cortito, porque tampoco hace falta más información. Toca la psicología humana, aunque eché en falta un poco de sensibilidad. Aunque se entienden los motivos, no transmite empatía. Paula Hawkins worked as a journalist for fifteen years before turning her hand to fiction. Born and brought up in Zimbabwe, Paula moved to London in 1989 and has lived there ever since. The Girl on the Train is her first thriller. Edie es como una espectadora de su propia vida y no parece que el crimen de su marido le cause mucha intriga. En la segunda mitad es cuando hay una ligera remontada, pero no porque los personajes se vuelvan fascinantes, más bien es que se van dando más sucesos y eso hace que sea fácil pasar las páginas con más ganas. Según se desvela cierto hecho clave, no es complicado adivinar varios detalles. Se podría haber jugado más con ese asunto y haberle otorgado la importancia que merecía de cara a condenar las acciones que algunos personajes llevaron a cabo... me gustaría ser más clara, pero eso supondría dar spoilers. Respecto al final, aunque no estuvo mal, fue demasiado abrupto. No da tiempo a procesar lo ocurrido. Cuando me llegó este libro me sorprendió mucho su tamaño, no llega a las 160 páginas y no entendía cómo la autora iba a contar un thriller de los suyos en tan pocas páginas, pero me ha sorprendido mucho para bien.Ryan este acuzat de uciderea celui mai bun prieten, însă oare lucrurile sunt exact cum presupune poliția? Ce motiv ar fi avut să-și ucidă prietenul, care era oricum prăbușit din toate punctele de vedere? Secrete din trecut vin să-și bântuie personajele în această poveste pe care sigur ați mai citit-o măcar o dată dacă apreciați asemenea istorii, dar care abordează totuși teme mult mai complexe în spațiul atât de restrâns pe care îl presupune o nuvelă.
