About this deal

Best Cases For Motorola Edge 30 Neo&text=Motorola Edge 30 Neo has been officially released on Sept. 8, 2022. The device comes with splash and dust resistance and supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by). The device is powered by Qualcomm SM6375 Snapdragon 695 5G Octa-core processor and GPU is Adreno 619. The smartphone features a dual camera that consists of 64 MP […]"> There aren't many compact phones to choose from, especially in the mid-range class, so the Neo is a breath of fresh air of sorts. And it's also running quite capable hardware. The 6.28-inch, 120Hz OLED display is not only fast but bright as well. Memory configurations start at 6GB/128GB, the main camera is 64MP with OIS, and the secondary ultrawide camera uses a much-appreciated 13MP sensor instead of the overused and underwhelming 8MP one.

This wouldn’t matter so much if we were just making a comparison between the Neo and the Fusion, but you can get Fusion-like results from phones such as the OnePlus Nord 2T and the Pixel 6a. The gap widens if we switch to a more GPU-dependent test like 3DMark’s Wild Life. Where the Moto scores 1,214 points, the OnePlus Nord 2T can hit around 4,600, and the Pixel 6a 6,300.

Despite a couple of noteworthy features, the Motorola Edge 30 Neo fails to stand its ground in the cut-throat mid-range market

As is ever the case, given that it is a phone from Motorola, the Neo comes running the ‘Moto Experience’. This is the manufacturer’s attempt to give the base Android experience a little favour and improve its usability in many situations. Results aren’t bad either. The Motorola Edge 30 Neo avoids the obviously oversaturated color you’ll often see in aggressively priced rivals from companies like Realme.

Connect at 5G speed without worrying about battery life on a 4020 mAh battery. Get power for the day in just 10 minutes with 68 W TurboPower charging. Avoid messy cables and cords with wireless charging.

An unbalanced offering

These cases are made from leather and carbon fiber which is a perfect fit for Motorola Edge 30 Neo. They are slim and light in weight with breathable material to make them easy to hold with anti-sweat quality. The subject of this review is the Edge 30 Neo, which is the most affordable of the bunch, but aside from the Snapdragon 695 SoC, the device comes off as a well-rounded device, which arrives in a market segment that's relatively unsaturated. Surely, there are quite a few alternatives price-wise, but the size of the Edge 30 Neo makes it somewhat unique. Motorola Edge 30 Neo specs at a glance: At the top of the list are these transparent cases that are made up of TPU and silicone material that are an appropriate fit for Motorola Edge 30 Neo. These cases are flexible for easy installation and strong enough to withstand any external variables.

Once depleted, the 68W fast charger can take the battery to 50% in around 12 minutes, and on to full in less than 40 minutes. This is pretty much identical to both the OnePlus Nord CE 2 5G and the Xiaomi Poco F4, and just a hair faster than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11. Capture crystal-clear high-res photos in any light, while eliminating any blur from unwanted camera movement and give your photography an edge. With a 64 MP camera, your photos are consistently clear and bright with razor-sharp details, even when taken in low light. High-resolution selfies with Quad Pixel technology combine four pixels into one for better low-light sensitivity. The Motorola Edge 30 Neo's design may seem better from afar than in your hand, but the screen is an unexpected smash. It’s a petite 6.28-inch P-OLED panel with class-leading outdoor visibility. This phone features fast charge technology - faster than standard charging, for when time is of the essence. There are caveats attached to smaller, thinner, phones that might not be expected. Of course, a smaller screen and general footprint will mean reduced battery life and slightly worse viewing experience with video, but there are consequences for the camera too. Overall the Neo isn’t necessarily the most interesting phone on the market, or at the price point, from a design perspective, but it is robust and comfortable to use, both of which are significant strong points. That it has wireless charging too is a nice surprise, as it is something that much of the competition at the price point omits entirely. The Edge 30 Neo steps down from three rear cameras to two, but steps up the specs. The first is a 64 MP main lens which takes advantage of larger 1.4 µm pixels – which in theory should improve low-light performance and reduce noise – as well as Optical Image Stabilisation to deliver sharper images. The second is a 13MP ultrawide lens with slightly smaller 1.12 µm pixels. The handset forgoes the 2 MP rear depth camera. The main camera uses the 1/1.97-inch Samsung GW3 sensor, as seen in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite, and the ultra-wide a Hynix Hi1336, as used in the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE. Not bad bedfellows, right?
