About this deal

N.B. In this configuration, at a distance of 10 meters, I measured the candles that were found to be in line with those declared by the house. Is the Acebeam K75 going to be the next killer thrower? After the BLF GT was surpassed by the Astrolux MF04, we now have Acebeam stepping up the game. And instead of using the CREE XHP35Hi, Acebeam went for the Luminus SBT-90 gen II. It is claimed to throw 2.5 kilometers / 1.5 miles and a maximum output of 6300 lumens.

One more power-related feature is the power indicator, somewhat beside the switch. When the light is on, this indicator is on.If you enjoy carrying a 1+ kilogram flashlight in your hands, you are tough. You could, however, use the lanyard to carry the light around. You know, just to relax those tiny muscles in your wrist.

Below is a photo taken in Turbo ECO mode at 3000 lumens. The house is located at a distance of 446 meters. There’s just one switch on the K75. It’s a metal-covered e-switch, and the pad is plenty big. I like metal-covered e-switches! This one is no exception, too. The battery indicator was confirmed with bench power and is all accurate per the manual. Modes and Currents Mode That said, on the highest output, the light will want 10A or so (claimed). So whatever cell you do land on, make sure it’s a capable cell. And since the cells are in series, each cell needs to be able to output max current . Also, I’d strongly recommend you use married cells. There’s a bit of branding on the tailcap. Plenty of room for it. And the lights are serialized, too.The battery tube has a great amount of knurling so it isn’tslippery at all. Another great characteristic! I took measurements both indoors and outdoors with the Hagner E4-X. The indoor measurement was strange so I wouldn’t trust the numbers. We should measure far throwers at a minimum of 10-20m distance. The tests were done using the "new" batteries supplied with the torch (18650 Li-ion ARC18650H-310A 3100 mAh) charged at 4.18V. I also used a small fan to see the pattern of the discharge curve in conditions of forced ventilation.

The tail cap, in the shape of a "U" has a knurling similar to that present on the body, in the lower part we find the writings of the brand, model, certifications and serial number. It is possible to insert, in the two slots that it has, a cord or a carabiner of a shoulder strap. The flashlights from AceBeam are real leaders when it comes to beam range and lumen. AceBeam introduces us to the extreme possibilities that LED flashlights offer us today. The non-slip knurling on the body of the K75 is rhomboid in shape. Good quality of the writing as good is the quality of the well-lubricated threads. I soon figured out that mine must have been in Eco mode. So my first question was: How to change to Power mode on the Acebeam K75? The UI is simple, but I don’t really see why they chose to have 2 separate Mode Groups (Eco mode and Power mode). The UI is rather straightforward with some shortcuts to Low and Turbo. This makes it easy to understand and great to use!

Size comparison with other flashlight throwers. From left to right: Acebeam K75 (Luminus SBT-90 II), Astrolux MF04S (Cree XHP70.2) and Lumintop BLF GT (Cree XHP35 Hi). Turbo in POWER mode with and without ventilation (10 min.). It seems from my test that the two curves are similar and that the descent is timed. The beam of the ACEBEAM K75 is powerful and luminous in its spot and ample and usable in the spill. The color is a beautiful white, surely we are below 6500 ° K and there are no strange dominants. I did not notice PWM in the available modes. The peak beam intensity of the ACEBEAM K75 is considerably greater than that of the BLF GT. The ACEBEAM K75 is brighter and has more throw, the BLF GT has a narrower hot spot in addition to having a warmer color temperature. The Acebeam K75 flashlight is a 18650×4 dedicated thrower with a Luminus SBT-90 Gen2. Read on for some thoughts and testing! I have searched international forums and I have seen tons of comparative beamshots of BLF GT versus K75, posted by known posters, and I can concretely say that the K75 yields surprisingly more performance than the BLF GT.
