About this deal

The Mission LX6 Mk2 is the flagship of the Mission LX MK2 range and the largest floor-standing speaker. The LX6 is the only speaker in the range that hosts a 3-way configuration offering advanced and extremely precise performance for large spaces. It includes all the added upgrades from the previous models including Comb Tooth Serrations, Mission’s IDG design, self-damping and latest driver technology. Looking to add that extra level of sub-harmonics? The LX-10 Subwoofer is for you! It is an active unit with a built-in 200w amplifier that drives a large 250mm PP cone long-throw driver delivering frequencies as low as 40hz. The LX5 is the mid-level floor-standing model in the LX Mk2 range sitting above the LX4 in performance. The LX5 MK2 stands at 995mm and is the second-largest floor-standing speaker in the series. Like the rest of the series, it has been fitted with new technology that’s based on the QX, and Mission’s flagship ZX range. The two bass drivers are 6.5” and are constructed from an advanced dual-layer fibre formulation, which exhibits excellent self-damping and has a very high stiffness to mass ratio. In addition, the LX-5 MKII is fitted with a lightweight 25mm microfiber dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet for maximum magnetic force in a small space. For the MKII version of the LX Series, Mission has updated the crossover to produce a smoother performance from the speakers, with a notable improvement on off-axis balance. To aid timing and rhythm, the LX series speakers use Mission’s inverted driver geometry, placing the midrange driver above the tweeter. The wavelengths from the woofers and tweeters coincide at the listener’s head height. The LX2-MK II’s most prominent new upgrade is the advanced driver surrounds and crossovertechnology. This technology was used in the QX and high-end ZX ranges and was proven to be very successful. It used ‘comb-tooth’ serrations in the driver surrounds to help scatter interfering reflections from localised surfaces to the mid/bass cones.

The Mission LX-2 Speakers are versatile in their positioning options, be that in the middle of a bookshelf or placed upon a pair of dedicated stands. The LX-2s will offer the best possible result when placed close to a rear wall (not completely against), providing the rear-firing port with a little space for the best performance result. Delivering a deep bass that loses no precision or authority; the Mission LX-2 Speakers time well presenting changes in momentum without neglecting any subtleties. In the LX 2 Mk2, similar serrations are used in the main driver surrounds, as well as indentations around the tweeter to add further finesse to the drive unit outputs.Thisprovides a smoother frequency response that was not present in the LX2 MK2 and ultimately provides and an even better listening experience LX2 Mk2’s New Look The Mission 778X ’s all-round performance is engaging, detailed and refined. Detail, timing and dynamics excel, regardless of source or medium. Designed for the modern-day music enthusiast with a nod to our heritage, the Mission 778X does not discriminate when it comes to expression and enjoyment of your music reproduction. Mission LX-2 MKII Bookshelf Speakers Today’s Mission 778X maintains the influence of simplistic operation, large tactile controls, and a multitude of inputs. It’s a compact, ’80s inspired integrated amplifier that is fully equipped to meet the demands of modern music lovers, from vinyl fans to digital streamers. Modern twists, such as LED level indicators and all-encompassing connectivity options, make the 778X a truly contemporary integrated amplifier. Boasting a genuine 65 watts (@4 ohms) of power via an utterly modern and refined signal path, to standards akin to the exemplary standards to which Mission loudspeakers are developed. The Mission 778X is a revisit of a classic Mission amplifier concept that was the Mission 778 – an affordable integrated amplifier that offered simplicity in operation but over-performed in the driving of loudspeakers. The LX-C 1/2 are both centre channel speakers specifically designed for home cinema surround use. The C1 Mk2 is the entry-level model while the C2 is the flagship centre model with increased driver sizes. Mission LX MK2 Subwoofer (LX-10) Mission’s LX 2 MKII is a compact, bookshelf/stand mount speaker, which replaces the older MK1 model, and has been improved with technologies that are featured on Mission’s QX range and very successful multi award-winning ZX range. It’s slightly larger than the LX1 MkII but perfect if you want a bit of extra power whilst still keeping within budget. Flipped IDG Drivers Mission’s IDG driver design flips the tweeter and the woofer positions so they’re ‘upside down’. The ideaof this is to keep the high frequencies at head height when listening on desktops.Mission have redesigned the tweeter with a neodymium magnet, selected for maximum magnetic force in a small space, and a 25mm microfibre dome, chosen because it’s light weight and consistent. It delivers clear highs and detailed. LX MKII improvements

The 5-inch bass driver featured on the LX-2 MKII is a new version of the DiaDrive from Mission, using a seamless curvilinear diaphragm instead of a cone and hub cap. The driver on the LX-2 MKII speakers is constructed from an advanced dual-layer fibre formulation, which exhibits excellent self-damping and has a very high stiffness to mass ratio. A high strength ferrite magnet ensures the magnetic is directed precisely within the voice coil, for an ultra-linear excursion and a focused performance. The bass driver uses comb-tooth separations around the driver to help scatter interfering reflections. This helps the driver produce a smoother frequency response with less resonance. The LX-3D is a 2-way surround wall mount speaker designed for home cinema systems. The LX-3D uses a 4″ advanced dual-layer fibre bass driver for bass/mid frequencies. This is paired with the standard LX Mk2 range 25mm microfibre dome tweeter. Mission LX-C1&2 MK2 Complementing the typical RCA line inputs are digital and coax connection options and a built-in Bluetooth receiver with an aptX and AAC codec, meaning the 778X offers CD performance via Bluetooth wireless connection. The convenience of streaming music from smart devices, such as phones, tablets or PCs have never sounded so good!
