The Hogwarts die has multiple faces that require you to perform specific actions, depending on what is rolled: Once your accusation is made, you must secretly look at the cards hidden in the secret envelope to see if you were correct. If you were correct, reveal the secret cards to all players – you have won the game! ALL CHARACTERS: A young dragon loose in the castle sees you and breathes fire in your direction. Lose 10 HP. Help Cards: Rubeus Hagrid, Invisibility Cloak, Fawkes. CHARACTERS IN THE OWLERY: You have an urgent message to deliver and your owl has gone missing. Lose 15 HP. Help Cards: Rubeus Hagrid, Weasley Twins, Dobby.

If you do not have the specific Help card needed to protect you, you must pay the amount of HP (House Points) depicted on the Dark card. These HP will be discarded in a pile near the game board. ALL CHARACTERS: Filch - in a fouler mood than usual - is coming round the corner. Lose 1 Item Card of your choice. Help Cards: None. I should point out that this isn’t a Clue Junior game. The gameplay is very similar to the original game it's based off of, so the gameplay involves going around various locations on a board and uncovering clues to discover the mystery of who did it, however several changes are made to incorporate the mechanics of the wizarding world into the game. Players can roll dice and cause the physical layout of the board to change, much like the staircases of Hogwarts move and shift. Additionally, if all players run out of House points then the evil wizards win. Players lose house points when the staircase shifts and it reveals a Dark Mark, unless they have a spell or item that protects them from the dark mark. [1] Alternate Language Versions [ ] This version of Harry Potter Clue came out first, and as you can see from the title, Harry Potter Mystery at Hogwarts doesn’t include the Clue or Cluedo branding. Who Is Harry Potter? Take all of the Item Tokens and Suspect Tokens and place them in piles within reach of all players.

This game is about a person getting cursed, kidnapped or disappeared and the players have to save them by getting clues and try to find out the secret in the burrow. I recommend Harry Potter Cluedo for children who are very fond of Harry Potter characters and who also like mysteries. And of course, the plotline is slightly different too. A student has mysteriously disappeared from Hogwarts instead of Mr. Boddy having been murdered. CHARACTERS IN CORRIDORS: As you pass the courtyard fountain, you're trapped in a water-like cocoon and can't breathe. Lose 10 HP. Help Cards: Gillyweed, Albus Dumbledore.
