About this deal

Overall, the headphones are designed for their purpose. Their lightweight build allows them to be comfortable and the headband design which wraps around the ears provides a secure fit as well. This is going to be variable though as everyone is a little different and many may not be bothered by it and can crank it up! Style And Overall Look In your second device’s Bluetooth settings, select the Titanium (or whatever model you're using). Audrey will say "Connected" or “Device 2 Connected.”

Improvements over Trekz Titanium: Reduced sound leakage, improved dual noise canceling mics, new antenna for improved Switching between the Shokz Air and OpenMove, the difference in sound quality is noticeable – the OpenMove’s sound is much richer and more detailed. The key design feature of the Trekz Air is, of course, that they're not earphones at all, but speakers. Shokz calls this 'OpenFit', and despite them allowing you to hear what's going on around you, one of those small bone conduction transducers comes with a further safety option; a mute button. On the left-hand side and easy to find, it's designed for the user to press when, say, crossing a busy road.PremiumPitch+ technology optimizes the sound and includes additional features like LeakSlayer technology, which helps eliminate sound leakage Redesigned Open-Fit - Although AfterShokz Air feature a lightweight wraparound titanium frame that weighs in at only 30g grams, Aeropex boasts our lightest design yet, totaling at just 26 grams. Aeropex headphones also feature a redesigned transducer for minimized vibrations and a more snug fit. Shokz quotes a battery life of around six hours for the OpenMove (the same as the Air, and two hours less than the OpenRun. In our tests, this seemed to hold true – and is perhaps a modest estimate. A full charge lasted us closer to seven hours.

If you don't strongly dislike conventional earbuds or headphones, it's hard to make a case for either the Air or the Titanium—they cost more, have less battery life, and don't offer a full musical range of audio reproduction. But they're outstanding for audio tasks centered on a relatively normal human speaking range, and their battery life is good enough for even heavy daily use. I would like to put it out there that these aren’t Bose and Beats loud booming audio, simply put that isn’t really their purpose.Standby time is also good—AfterShokz claims up to 20 days of standby time, which again seems a bit conservative. After leaving a Titanium headset off the charger for a week, it still registered 90 percent charge. A fully discharged headset requires a bit less than two hours to completely charge. Cue open-ear running headphones like the Trekz Air, which do away not only with noise isolation, but with intrusive earbuds altogether. They cut away bulk and utilized titanium where they could to fit more securely and increase sound quality. The Trekz Air products were inspired due to the needs and requirements of elite athletes who are wanting to bring music into their world. Most importantly, they stay out of your ears completely—which is the big feature that drove me to buy them on an experimental basis in the first place. AfterShokz headphones don't leave you with sore or sweaty ears after hours of continuous use. The comfort factor isn't perfect—I find myself wanting to wiggle the headphones around a little after three or more hours—but it's a definite improvement.
