I found out afterwards that this was the second book in the Grimwood series but that didn’t bother at all. You can easily read this book without having read the previous one. It was a fast-paced book, delightfully decorated with illustrations fitting with the story. I thought this was a very loveable story. Oh, and also.. Mr. Silver is kind of an ass 😌LoveReading4Kids exists because books change lives, and buying books through LoveReading4Kids means you get to change the lives of future generations, with 25% of the cover price donated to schools in need. Grimwood: Let the Fur Fly! | Book by Nadia Shireen | Official

Ted an Nancy has left the big city to live in Grimwood. They are both hope that it's a safe place to live at because they have not adventure as far. There are other animals that live there. Soon all become friends. While in Grimwood they find an unknown place close by. This new place has things that are different to them. While there they meet other animals. But they soon find out that they are not as friendly. Is the stranger a fox? Ted says, yes! but the rest of the animals in Grimwood aren’t so sure. They warn Ted about going out looking for trouble, or as Ted puts it, looking for mom and dad, but Ted won’t give up that easily. The thing is, no place is perfect and Grimwood also has its dark secrets (duh! Did you see the name of the pace?). It all comes into play, when a mysterious stranger grabs Ted by the tail. This was followed by a MA at the prestigious Anglia Ruskin University. Drawing and writing for a living is very much Nadia’s dream come true and we expect great things from this promising new author and illustrator.

Nadia Shireen Press Reviews

Shireen’s latest book confirms her as one of the brightest and best picture book creators working in Britain today ... Sensational.' ― Observer Nadia was always destined for a career in illustration—as a child, she would doodle on her exercise books, while as a student she would doodle on her law degree notes. Then, when working as a journalist in London for pop music bible Smash Hits, she would doodle all the time on anything. The good people at Smash Hits didn’t fire her for doodling furry animals - instead they let her leave early to go to evening classes in illustration.
