The crispy beef was okay but again a little bland with no added garlic or spring onion, which is typical of the dish in most restaurants. Brixham Harbour is located on the southern side of Tor Bay and boasts one of the largest fishing fleets in the UK, plus a thriving fish market to support it. My prawn coctail,was really only shrimps on a rough bed of lettuce,wee bit of cucumber and wee bit of tomato. It was... ok. Sweet and Sour Hong Kong style had too much batter coating and was nearly like a normal pork ball and the S&S sauce was a little thin.The two ladies working were friendly and efficient. Perhaps a little loud as the dining area is small. The sizzling plate arrived absolutely hot and smoking. Very nice. The boiled rice portion was far too small. I enjoyed the beef dish and what rice I had. Over 100 fishing boats land and sell their catch at the local fish market on the quayside. A visitor viewing platform is strategically placed so visitors can watch the busy comings and goings of the fishing fleet, made up of large beam trawlers and the smaller day boats. Some of the smaller day boats can actually been seen working at various vantage points around Tor Bay e.g. Berry Head, Fishcombe Cove and Hopes Nose. The seated area is behind the carry out counter and front door. I have a cold and was freezing,as no heat was evident. My only criticism is that the pot of curry sauce we got was a little small, but it was perfect chip-shop-curry sauce!WHEAT Flour, Salt, Natural Colour, (Mixed Carotenes and Paprika), Acidity Regulators (Sodium Carbonate, Potassium Carbonate, Citric Acid). Yes and no...... there was no real distinction between the dishes as not strong flavours which was... odd considering it’s Cantonese.

The captain brought us through the river, showed local plants, trees, animals. Also told a lot during our journey about Sri Lanka, some local buildings, the river, the nature, rising tides. We met baby crocodiles and monkeys, very rare white frog and even bats! Thanks a lot, highly recommended!

I was not so hungry anyway so I choose shredded beef in peking sauce,but I asked it to be sizzling,as that was not on menu. I had two very small beers. Overall it is a rough and ready place but worth a visit if you are local. I may if ever in the area call again.
