About this deal

The Hisense 65A6BGTUK is available in a 65-inch size, which is perfect for large living rooms and entertainment spaces. However, if you’re looking for a smaller or larger size, Hisense offers a range of other sizes in the A6G series, including 43-inch, 50-inch, 55-inch, and 75-inch models. It’s important to consider your room size and viewing distance when choosing the right size for your TV. We may revise and update this EULA from time to time in our sole discretion. All changes will be posted at your Device or through update with reasonable period before they become effective. They deemed to be accepted by you unless you have notified us of your refusal within the above-mentioned period. In case of refusal you can terminate the EULA with immediate effect. By using any portion of the Smart Services, you accept this EULA and are certifying that you are at least sixteen (16) years of age, are not under sixteen (16) years of age, or if you are under the age of sixteen (16), have parental or guardian’s consent. The use of any portion of the Smart Services is restricted solely to personal use and no other uses are permitted. The apps appear along the centre of the home screen, and above this is content related to the app currently highlighted. Beneath the apps are rows of content based on recommendations, while at the top are icons for searches, inputs, settings, recordings, and the TV guide. There’s also extensive audio and video file support for anyone wanting to stream their own content. The Hisense 65A6BGTUK does not feature MicroLED technology. MicroLED is a new type of TV technology that uses millions of tiny LED lights to create the picture, resulting in excellent brightness and contrast. However, MicroLED TVs are currently very expensive and not widely available, making them a niche product for high-end users.

Hisense uses a simple naming scheme. Starting with their 2021 TVs, the flagship ULED lineup has a U in front of the model names, while the entry-level models have an A. The first letter is followed by a number to indicate where it stands in the lineup; the last letter represents the year; Hisense uses G for 2021, H for 2022, and K for 2023. For example, the Hisense U8His a high-end 2022model, while the Hisense A6H is an entry-level 2022 model. If there's an R in the model code, it means it uses Roku TV instead of Android TV. If you're on a tighter budget, the Hisense U6/U6Koffers great value compared to similarly-priced models from other brands. Unlike the Hisense U7K and Hisense U8/U8K, you aren't getting the same high-end features and performance, but it's still quite decent. It uses the same quantum dot technology, which means it displays a wide range of colors and has remarkable pre-calibration accuracy, so you won't have to get it calibrated to get accurate colors. We uploaded the brightness measurements and uniformity photos after running the TV for two months in our Accelerated Longevity Test. The Hisense 65A6BGTUK does not feature a One Connect Box. One Connect Box is a feature commonly found on Samsung TVs, allowing for a cleaner setup by connecting all your external devices to a separate box instead of directly to the TV. However, the Hisense 65A6BGTUK features a variety of input ports, including HDMI, USB, and Ethernet, which provide ample connectivity options for all your external devices.

Is this cheap OLED TV actually cheap enough?

Percentage luminance drop at 20 degree vertical angle from the centre of the screen with 50% white output It has Dolby Vision and HDR10+ support, as well as advanced DTS audio format support, but its low-quality content smoothing is poor, so it isn't as good for a home entertainment center as the higher-end models. Still, it's cheaper than the other TVs, and for the price, it's one of the best budget models currently on the market. If you're not looking for high-end performance or features, you'll be very satisfied with the U6. With dedicated Game and Sport Modes, the 85A6BGTUK optimises the action. Game Mode turns off all unnecessary picture enhancements and focuses on delivering the fastest response via ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode), which can make a big difference to your gaming experience. Sport Mode gives a live stadium feel, giving you a front row seat at the heart of the action.

Colours look a little ragged at the edges of objects with upscaled content too, and all of the presets bar the two Cinema ones look oversaturated with SDR sources. The Cinema presets, on the other hand, look rather desaturated and flat. The Hisense A6G includes a pair of downward-firing speakers, each of which has 8W of built-in amplification. As you would expect from a modern TV, the slim chassis precludes the use of larger speakers, and the amplification is clearly limited. As a result, the audio performance is perfunctory at best, and the reality is that even a simple single-unit soundbar will deliver a higher quality sonic experience with content like TV shows, movies and games. Otherwise, it has features you don't normally find on TVs at this price range. It has VRR support, although over the narrow 48-60Hz range. It doesn't support HDR10+ like the more expensive models, but it does have Dolby Vision, which is more widespread. It doesn't support advanced DTS audio formats, but it does support DTS 5.1 over ARC. It has good response time and superbly low input lag, so it's a decent gaming TV overall. Ultimately, this is the best cheap TV on the market, and it's almost as good as the more expensive U6K.

The Hisense 65A6BGTUK has a good viewing angle, thanks to its VA panel. The TV has a wide color gamut and good contrast, ensuring the picture looks excellent no matter where you sit. However, when viewed from off-centre angles, the TV suffers from some brightness and color accuracy loss. This is a common issue with VA panels, and it is something to keep in mind if you plan to mount the TV in a large room. We tested the 65-inch Hisense A6G, and the results are also valid for the 43-inch model (Hisense 43A6G), the 55-inch model (Hisense 55A6G), and the 75-inch model (Hisense 75A6G). The 50-inch (Hisense 50A6G), 60-inch (Hisense 60A6G), 70-inch (Hisense 70A6G), and 85-inch (Hisense 85A6G) models are a bit different, as they use a different panel type from the 65-inch we've tested, so the results from this review aren't valid for those models.Impressively, this TV has very good image processing, which is welcome for Hisense as that used to be a feature reserved for name brands such as LG and Sony. This makes it a cheaper home entertainment alternative to very expensive models from the two aforementioned brands, especially as it supports both HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, as well as DTS advanced audio formats. Unfortunately, its viewing angle is disappointing, so it's not very well suited for a wide seating arrangement.
