In 1995, British comedian Jim Davidson produced and starred in Sinderella, an adults-only Pantomime version of the fairy tale " Cinderella". In September 2007, Davidson participated in the celebrity reality TV programme Hell's Kitchen and attracted negative media attention over homophobic bullying towards TV presenter and openly gay contestant Brian Dowling.
