About this deal

If you'll be regularly hopping in and out of the car with your little one a car seat that attaches to your pram can be really handy. Rather than having to lift baby out of the car seat and into the pram, you simply remove the entire car seat and attach it to the pram chassis. You don't have to fiddle with clips or remove any blankets that are keeping baby warm. Plus, if baby's asleep there's less risk of waking them if you don't have to lift them out of their cosy seat. What features should I look for when choosing a car seat? Comfortable to push and good quality only downside is the basket underneath is small however it’s a small pram so can’t gave it all Read more Will definitely buy this product again for my second. Very sturdy and lasted me a long time. With buying the extra carseat and attachments for this still works out a very cheap product and great value for money. Read more

Isofix is another important safety feature to consider. Isofix seats attach to anchor points in the car to prevent the seat from shifting in the event of an accident. They can minimise the risk of serious injury if your vehicle is involved in an accident. Although not essential by law, Isofix seats are proven to be far safer than car seats that attach via seat belts. Most cars on the road in the UK already have Isofix anchor points so there's usually no barrier in choosing an Isofix seat. We are a family run business since 2012 that aims to provide customers with excellent quality products at highly competitive prices; through a safe, hassle free, reliable, efficient and value for money service. The Mothercare Orb is compatible with a few different car seats from brands other than Mothercare. Maxi-Cosi Cabriofix and Pebble infant car seats work with the Orb pram when you use a Maxi-Cosi car seat adaptor. The Cybex Q Cloud car seat can work with the Mothercare Orb but, again, a suitable adaptor is needed. Joie Gemm, i-Gemm and i-Level car seats are also compatible with the Mothercare Orb pushchair. Why don't all car seats fit all prams?

Frequently Asked Questions about Mothercare Orb Stroller

I am happy with this pram, the ability to change seat direction so easily is great. However I find the basket small and awkward to get too, and I also find that the front wheels often have a mind of their own which can make it awkward steering occasionally. Read more Hey, Mothercare Orb enthusiasts

The ability to swivel between parent and world facing is really handy, especially when little one falls asleep in world facing. The hood in pram and seat mode provides excellent protection from the elements. The cosy toes is one of the best I’ve used, it’s super snuggly and comfy and unlike others, it’s really easy to undo when you get home without waking a sleeping baby! It’s generally a very good pram for a small baby! The pushchair is easy to change from parent facing to world facing, you can buy the adapters to put I've had this pram about 3 years, got it when I had my first child and still use it now for my second. Love it, still in fantastic condition, the colour is lovely I have it in grey. I used it as a pram up until child was too big then I was able to change it to a pushchair. I'll be sad when he outgrows it as I've loved using this.

What car seat fits Mothercare Orb?

I needed a pram to fit in my fiat 500, as you can remove the wheels easily this was possible, great pram!!!

I had a similar issue with a silver cross pram and after looking online it seemed a faulty brake was a common problem

What features should I look for when choosing a car seat?

The super one-hand rotation of the Orb pushchair allows parents to simply change the direction your baby faces when on the go. Parent facing mode can help to support the bond between parent and child, as well as creating an enviroment for communication and language development. Forward facing mode allows children to 'look and learn' whilst exploring the world around them. The chassis is made from lightweight but strong aluminium, and has a gunmetal finish that looks sleek and cool for the modern parent. I bought it for the idea of easy reversing the seat and the carrycot - and it's truly a nice feature. Though, not so practical if you are used to hang your nappy bag on the handle.

Overall absolutely delighted with this pushchair, it’s smart, lovely to push even on rough terrain nice handle as well! The only down falls are the basket underneath isn’t huge and the pram doesn’t fold down that small but it’s manageable. We love it Read more Compatible with Maxi Cosi CabrioFix or Pebble infant car seats (car seat adaptors required sold separately) The adjustable height handle is easily adjusted for each parents/carers use and the push on/off brakes are simple to engage with no more scuffed shoes! When paired with a Maxi Cosi CabrioFix or Pebble infant car seat and adaptors (both available separately), the Mothercare Orb Pram and Pushchair can be transformed into a complete travel system. I love this pram, we have had it over a year now, i love the fact you can go from travel cot to pram in sted of lots of bits and pieces,my little one is 13 months old and she still fits in the pram perfectly I would be using it for my baby due in October but have opted for a double pram or I would have been stull using this then Read more

I received this as a temp whilst my pram was in for repare and it was horrible, so difficult to steer and manover around corners or onto pavements and i walk alot with my dog. With safety features considered, you want to think about convenience. Some car seats have removable, washable covers to help you keep them clean which is ideal in the event of spills, spit-ups and nappy leaks. You should also consider whether a car seat is convenient to carry around if you'll regularly be taking it out of the car. Some seats are big and heavy, and best suited to being left in the car most of the time. If you want a seat you'll be able to easily move baby around in then you should look for one that is compact and lightweight. What size car seat do I need? The steering is not the easiest, I guess it's because of the wider base of the pram. The easy flip-flop-friendly brake is a big plus from my side. I also like that the rain cover is included. Overall we love this pushchair! It looks very stylish and pushes like a dream. The large wheels and suspension means my little boy gets a lovely smooth ride. Also love that the seat converts into the carrycot which makes storage easier and less bulky. Top tip, we put a moses basket mattress in the carrycot (with a sheet on) for extra comfort. It also meant I could clean the cover easier and regularly. Also I wasn't overly keen that you could see the strap holes. We had numerous problems with it that had to be repaired. Also, my little princess grew out of it around one year of age.
