Ink Wash creates a limited palette using the power of shades then allows users to build up color, and movement, using a library of washes. This is a practical subject, please wear suitable clothing. Materials will be provided for you each week but if learners wish to bring their own materials they are welcome to. Includes watercolour studio, eight watercolour paints, paintbrush, water brush pen, double tip marker pen, pencil, eraser, 15 watercolour paper sheets, five stencils, pipette, two sponges, roll of masking tape and handy guidebook
Outline defines edges throughout the image. Choose between round fluid watercolor strokes or sharp inky ones. The tutor will use a range of teaching methods during the course which will include the following: Demonstration - both group and individual, one to one tuition, group work, assessment of progress, observation, discussion/question and answer sessions. Even though you will never be able to control the watercolour paint, practice and experience will allow you to at least predict what will happen and trying out different techniques allows you to grow and develop your own watercolour style. A helpful way to learn is by watching other artists paint, following step by step tutorials, or just following their painting process. YouTube has a plethora of great videos, but you can spend hours looking through them to find one you like, leaving you with no time to paint! That is why we have done the work for you and curated a list of watercolour demonstrations and tutorials to give you ideas and inspiration on your watercolour journey.Many of the greatest artists throughout history trained for years to master their craft. Artists such as Turner and Millais who trained at the Royal Academy of Art (RA), would have studied up to 10 years, and for many of the RA students, the first four years were dedicated to only drawing. To achieve a high academic level in drawing and painting, one needs to continue their growth through learning under expert guidance and attend classes regularly. We have art tutors specializing in drawing, acrylic, oil and watercolour, who can provide expert guidance in perspective drawing, architecture drawing, still life, portrait, landscape, botanical, and range of other subjects. Through our exceptional team, we offer personalized study plans, and many of our of alumnistudents choose to master a particular medium/s, develop a genre or wish to try something new. We teach our art lessons on a bespoke and individual basis. Our tutors will also tailor your watercolour classes according to what you will need to achieve and learn. During each lesson, we will teach you specifictechniques and subjects to maximise your development. This will be discussed with the course tutor at the first class and will vary depending on the level of class and the topics to be covered. Splatter applies water spots to the watercolor. Choose between multi-color, single or no color. Options bleed the edges of spots and a placement box lets you move splatter around and resize them.
The course tutor will use a range of methods to assess progress on the course. These may include: Observation, evaluation of work samples and question and answer sessions

We always limit each of our art classes to less than 10 art students, allowing our teachers to work closely with every student and provide individual guidance.According to each student’s Study Plan, during each lesson, the teacher will arrange the most suitable subject for you and will teach each student appropriate techniques.
