Lash Paradise is definitely the best in my opinion. Coming in a close second would be the L’Oreal Voluminous Original mascara, an OG of mine ever since I was a teenager. Would you probably be fine with just the mascara? It depends on your personal preference. The only thing about the primer I’m not super crazy about is the color. It’s a pink/white color and you have to make sure you coat all of your lashes with the regular Lash Paradise or the pink/white color of the primer will show through. This can be a little annoying especially if you don’t want to cake your mascara on. But I do think it helps create fuller, longer lashes than just using Lash Paradise on its own. I persevered over the course of 4 days as I really wanted to like it and presumed that maybe I was doing something wrong, but still continued to experience the same undesirable results. B206093/2). I’ve tried a lot of mascaras. And since I’m a huge drugstore makeup person, I’ve tried a ton of L’Oreal mascaras. It's really easy to apply. The brush is great for applying the mascara to my bottom lashes and I've never ended up with it on my skin instead. On my top lashes, it goes on really smoothly - it's a great consistency, and makes my lashes look long and with lots of volume. It doesn't clog and leaves my lashes all separated with little effort. No! That’s the whole point why I wanted to try Lash Paradise because I was having so many issues with smudging. I have pretty long lashes so they sometimes hit my eyelid and under my eye when I blink, but I never experienced any smudging with the L’Oreal Lash Paradise.
