About this deal

I have some cluttered areas. Do I have to buy a eufy with boundary strips or the other models have no-go zones too? Despite having more sophisticated tech in place for mapping, the Jet Bot+ is affordable compared to the two options mentioned previously. Apart from this, Samsung has also implemented intelligent power control systems that decide how fast the motors need to run depending on the floor type. If you don’t care about the magnetic tape and don’t have carpets or already have a traditional vacuum that would be the main cleaner get the eufy RoboVac 15C. If you need boundary strips more than mapping so the C30 Max is a great buy. Especially when it's as cheap as now. Run it every other day so it will go across those areas it missed last time. If you are going to use it once a week, I would suggest getting something with mapping. Thanks to smart mapping, the vacuum creates a map of your house and knows which areas to clean and which ones to avoid. You can clean multiple surfaces like tiles, carpets, and even wooden flooring without any issues. However, note that the Roomba i4+ only sweeps the floor but doesn’t mop it.

Final question, some robots come with modes for the mop feature as well (similar to the standard and max modes in the vacuum features). Does the G10/G30 have this feature for mopping as well? (In a high mode, the robot would dispense more water for an intense clean). For bigger homes, I suggest getting a robot with mapping abilities and longer runtime. This might be the G30 or the L70 Hybrid. These would be efficient and spend less time cleaning your place while the randomly moving models would not cover the whole area and might get lost. iPath™ Laser Navigation: The most sophisticated navigation in eufy's top-tier RoboVacs, it utilizes advanced LiDAR technology and a Z-shaped cleaning route for the most efficient cleaning. It accurately scans your home and builds a virtual map (aka "smart mapping") that it remembers and references every time it cleans. (Bonus: Multiple floor maps can be learned and intelligently recognized so you can utilize one eufy across your whole home.) This smart mapping feature can be found on models like the eufy Clean L35 Hybrid+, and the RoboVac X8 and X8 Hybrid. Smart Features. Robot vacuums are pretty smart as is, but some integrate phenomenal home mapping capabilities, customizable virtual boundaries, smartphone app integration, and plenty of other high-tech features that can be really helpful. However, some consumers may view them as a bit frivolous for their preferences, so we made sure to include the best eufy robot vacuums with and without these features.

How we chose

BoostIQ Technology — This quality allows the robot vacuum to smoothly transition over different surfaces (i.e. hardwood floors, tiles, low- to medium-pile carpeting and area rugs, etc.) and then automatically increase suction power whenever necessary to get that particular surface as clean as possible. Even if the "Boost IQ" feature is not mentioned explicitly by name in the product description, all of eufy's RoboVac models are designed to move seamlessly from hard flooring to area rugs. Even better, eufy offers a varied lineup of robovacs for every budget and every floor cleaning need, so you can find the perfect one to fit your lifestyle. What should you look for in a eufy robot vacuum? Only the eufy 30, 30C, 30C MAX, 35C, G30 Edge, and Verge come with magnetic tape. The difference between them is app support and the length of the boundary strips. Self-Emptying. If you don't want to deal with dumping out the dusty, dirty contents of your robot vac on a daily or weekly basis, consider a model with a self-emptying base. After it cleans your floors, it'll return to the base and automatically empty the crud there. Then, you just have to empty the base once every 60 days, give or take.

The auto-emptying base holds up to 3.2L of dust. It should be enough for up to two months of everyday usage in an average house, then you should replace a disposable dust bag with a new one. Inside the base, there is a niche where you can store accessories and a spare disposable dust bag - very convenient. The self-emptying base will be very useful for those who have pets. EufyHome appThe eufy C line navigates more or less randomly. Those models do not remember your floor plan, can not be sent to clean a specific room and as a result, are not efficient. I would recommend those robots for a smaller place like a studio apartment. Have a pet that sheds fur? Take a look at these upright vacuum cleaners for cleaning pet hair and carpets. eufy rarely makes self-emptying robot vacuums, but this time, it has bestowed a hybrid one upon us, and the result is good, hinting to a possibly bright future of similar products as eufy hones its craft.

Yes, you can but with the L70 Hybrid, you will not be able to schedule the robot, set no-go zones, watch the cleaning process, etc.

If you run the robot with mopping attachments on, it would do mopping and sweeping at the same time. If you remove the water tank, the robot would only do vacuuming. So basically with mopping attachments, the robot does cleaning 2-in-1 (vacuum + mop). If you have carpets, you'd have to use virtual boundaries only the G30 Hybrid supports. Height. If you're hoping for your robot vacuum to clean underneath your furniture (so you don't have to), you'll want to make sure you select one with a profile that's slim enough to fit in those spaces. The eufy RoboVac G20 is a vacuum only and does not have boundary strips. It has a bigger dustbin, suitable for low-pile carpets, and delivers 2,500 Pa which is more than the G10 Hybrid and G30 (+ modifications) do. Suitable for medium-pile carpets. In the Bounce Series of clean robot vacuums, you'll find a unique blend of value for money and functionality. These Eufy RoboVacs feature stronger suction power and BoostIQ Technology, ensuring the best clean with boosted suction power within 1.5 seconds. In this series, Eufy also provides the slimmest RoboVac, the RoboVac 11S. If you want a compact device, we've got you covered!

The other problem is that the spot cleaning mode isn’t quite as logical as it ought to be. The icon on the button that controls the process looks like it should start in the middle and work its way out, cleaning in an increasing spiral shape. However, in my experience, the centre of the cleaning area appeared to move as the RoboVac’s arcs got wider, sometimes moving away from the area I wanted cleaned. The eufy RoboVac G40 is the only one with an allergycare filtration system and a self-emptying dustbin. Only the eufy G10 Hybrid and L70 Hybrid come with mopping attachments. The G10 was not designed for carpets or big homes. The mopping feature is nice to have but not necessary. Function. Naturally, we included robot vacuums that do precisely what their name implies: vacuum. However, we also included mop combos for those customers who would like to have more cleaning options.

As with most robot vacuums, the dust collection bin isn’t particularly big – only 0.6 litre in capacity – so you’ll need to empty it fairly regularly. Fortunately, this is easy enough to do and accessing the washable filter is straightforward as well. Eufy RoboVac G30 Edge review: Is it good at finding its way around? We know this is a lot to think about, but we want you to have all the key information before making any sort of final decision. How does eufy compare to Roomba and Shark?
