About this deal

Despite everything I said I wouldn’t do, I can’t seem to stay away from him. But dating a future NHL player isn’t the life I imagined for myself, and as things keep going wrong, I’m starting to wonder if maybe the best-made plans aren’t always the ones you expect. When a female approaches the stairs stumbling, he immediately sees she has been sobbing. She looks gorgeous despite her smudged makeup lines. Because he can sense she’s sad, he asks if she wants to sit on the chair. She is seated on the grass with her legs pulled to her chest. She informs him that she found her ex-boyfriend in the bathroom with some random girls and asks him if she if he has ever loved someone else and left them in a room to be relieved by another. He desires and wants to hug her, believing that no girl should be treated this way. When they get to know each other names, she only gives him the name Ava, but her true name is Octavia Layton. Soon two unlike poles attract with only one thing in common, their ability to keep off from each other. This forces them out of their comfort zones, making them forget their uniqueness. Craving the player is the first book in the Amateurs in Love series. We meet Braden, who has never been the type of person to plan on settling down with a woman. Just the thought of committing to a woman is enough to make him to want to settle down. Maddox is highly protective. And even though he’s got a filthy mouth, it’s not the same case when it comes to Braxton. He literary worships her and wants the best for her. On the other hand, Braxton is strong, witty, confident, kind, and got the kindest heart. Oakley was a SWOON worthy book boyfriend. He was the absolute best. A little birdie told me, we see him again in the next generation series and I. Am. Here. For. That. !! I never expected to see her again, but now she’s here in this new city, with ties to my new team, and I don’t think I’m strong enough to fight against her pull.

I need a shower. Desperately. Before I pass out from a mix of overexertion and dehydration and end up needing my ass carried to the dressing room.~ Unfortunately, this book felt like reading multiple unfinished ideas. The synopsis was misleading. I’m not sure what trope to categorize this under and there were way too many things going on that didn’t go anywhere:I think I’ve made a mistake by not being more honest with you,” he starts, his voice no more than a husky whisper.

Octavia Layton , the girl unable to move beyond her broken past, fearful of her childhood betrayal following her through her new adult life. All across the USA, people are showing up dead. The deaths don't appear to be connected in any way until one particular death occurs and gets the Secretary of Defense's attention. He arranges for a task force to investigate.I have one goal. To be drafted into the NHL and make my father proud. Ive never been interested in dating, not when all of my spare time is spent at the rink perfecting my craft. There’s no time for distractions. I can’t afford them. I loved Oakley sm. Hannah writes obsessive men perfectly. And AVA!!!!! Her journey? I loved it. She’s adopted and is dealing with the dynamics between finding her biological mom and how that impacts her and her family. The emotions I felt while reading were 🥹 Avid Beta readers are not your editor or proof reader and don't expect them to do the grunt work. That's up to you. But they could have spotted a few fleas BEFORE you released the book and helped strengthen your story. Hanna Cowen takes the reader behind the scenes and gives them a glimpse of what it is like for an NHL player. Maddox has been through a lot throughout his career, especially regarding the draft, finding the best team, and making a name for himself outside his father, who was also an NHL legend. He will do anything it takes to secure a contract with his team. On the other hand, Braxton is willing to do whatever it takes to gain Maddox’s trust and forgiveness for what happened years ago. And if a fake girlfriend is what Maddox needs, she is willing to commit to it. But as expected, the faking concept does not last long since the two have a strong connection that causes them pain when they separate. As a reader, you will enjoy seeing them forced to work through their issues and give each other a second chance at love and relationship.Oakley and Ava meet one night at Oakley’s going away party as he transitions to the minor leagues. Oakley isn’t in the party mood, and Ava had just caught her boyfriend cheating. They end up talking for hours before going their separate ways. A cliche is just one of the things to look out for while writing. They can slip in unnoticed and ruin an otherwise great paragraph. Then there's the passive voice, accents, misspelling, typos, incorrect data. The list is long. Sometimes writers get so involved in the plot they can't see the wood for the trees. Hang on a sec'--th A place to connect writers with Beta readers. First off, a huge thank you to Hanna for sending me a review copy in exchange for an honest review.

Hannah is a twenty-something-year-old indie author from Western Canada. Obsessed with swoon-worthy romance, she decided to take a leap and try her hand at creating stories that will have you fanning your face and giggling in the most embarrassing way possible. Hopefully, that’s exactly what her stories have done! This was an amazing book! I started reading it and could not put it down, I finished it in one day! Very well written and I could picture the characters standing right in front of me, they were depicted so incredibly well! I definitely recommend this book the everyone! It was UH-MAZING!Well written love story. Kept me wanting to read more. Can’t wait for the next one! About Author Hannah Cowan There’s his career that worries her with regards to distance, fame and girls, but that is glossed over in an end chapter that feels like an epilogue Ava had a rough start to life and she had surpassed it and is a lovely FMC. I love how she was able to have a mature conversation with Oakley instead of going off the rails and assuming the worst like we often see.
