About this deal

The IT Cosmetics CC Cream promises to do a lot of things – colour correct, give full coverage, have anti-aging and hydrating skincare properties, contain SPF50+ UVA/UVB broad spectrum physical sunscreen, chemical-filter free and paraben free. That’s just what they say on the tube! Antioxidants: Reduce and protect against free-radical damage, which can cause skin inflammation and aging

In my opinion, these shades appear to come up darker than the shades in the Original version, however, as this is a sheerer formula, it’s not too much of a problem. Before & After Photos The It Cosmetics CC Nude Glow gives a lovely soft and glowy finish and it doesn’t look like makeup at all. You can still see skin through it, but it definitely evens out redness and texture and makes skin look more perfected. The clear SPF makes it look so natural on the skin. I have four shades to show you – Light, Light Medium, Neutral Tan and Tan: It Cosmetics CC Nude Glow Swatches – Light, Light-Medium, Neutral Tan, Tan It Cosmetics CC Nude Glow Swatches – Light, Light-Medium, Neutral Tan, Tan WHO WILL LIKE THIS: Anyone who wants a natural looking base makeup product that offers good coverage without looking heavy or cakey, Anyone who wants a base product that has some skincare benefitsThe IT Cosmetics CC Cream is a makeup base product that offers anti-aging and hydration skincare benefits as well as SPF50+ sunscreen protection. While it touts high coverage for makeup, I find that it is actually medium to full coverage, depending on how much product you use. I prefer to use less, and it evens out my skin and makes it look better but still very natural. If you want coverage, you’d have to layer it on. I’d also treat this as makeup, and use it after skincare and sunscreen. It isn’t drying, it feels comfortable, and it looks natural while making my skin look brighter. It just makes it look like my skin, just better and it seems to look better as the day wears on. I like this one, even if I’m still not sold on the idea of alphabet creams 😛 Niacin: Promotes a more even appearance and helps combat the look of blemishes and hyperpigmentation. Infused with hydrolzed collagen, peptides, niacin, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants and vitamins, CC+ Cream Illumination reduces the appearnce of wrinkles, helps to cover redness, dark circles under eyes and minimises the appearnce of pores - and leaves your complexion with a radiant, supple, flawless-looking finish. It's truly your multi-tasking makeup must-have radiant complexion perfection! I quite often use this CC Cream as my base makeup, because I find that it performs just as well as many of my liquid foundations, and feels comfortable. I don’t particularly notice any additional benefits, primarily because I rotate my foundations often and because, as I said, I don’t depend on this product for my skincare nor sunscreen protection. I wouldn’t recommend you do as well, but apparently, some people don’t like me saying that CC Cream shouldn’t be used as sunscreen – hey, do what you want! It’s your skin 😀

Once there are more sample shades available, I’d be interested to try the Fair-Light and Fair shades. My Review of It Cosmetics CC Nude Glow It Cosmetics CC Nude Glow Lightweight Foundation + Glow Serum SPF 40 The idea of a ‘Nude Glow’ and less of a full coverage really appeals to me, plus the fact that it contains a clear SPF, means that it really should be invisible on all skin tones. Allure reached out to the brand for comment and IT Cosmetics says there's a reason for the limited range: The texture of the IT Cosmetics CC Cream is quite creamy and moisturising and it actually feels very comfortable on my skin. I do however, have slightly drier skin, so I’m not sure how this fares on oilier skin types. If you have oilier skin and use this, do chip in with your thoughts!

I went for shade Light from the samples I have available. I am usually Fair-Light in the regular CC and this looked pretty dark in the swatches. However, as it’s a sheerer formula, it actually worked quite well. Before After (shade Light) For me therefore, I find this natural, but only because I don’t aim for full coverage. What I usually do is use this CC Cream to even out my complexion, then use concealer where I need it, before dusting some powder all over to set. I do find I have to set, to take away some of the shine. This light layering technique gives me a very natural and more flawless visage, as opposed to piling on the base makeup. While I’ve since made my peace with BB Creams, I never understood CC Creams. I suppose I tried too hard to understand them, when I should have just treated them all as makeup! It’d be much easier getting my head around them then 😛

I have combination skin with dehydration, and I think this works well for me, however, I’m not sure that oilier skin types will get on as well. I say this because it has a lot more moisturising ingredients than the original. Due to the physical-only SPF in the product, we’re not able to go darker than our deepest shade," a representative of the brand added. "Expanding our shade range is a top priority and we are working on it!" I took a picture of the ingredients list, but it’s spread out all over the box so here’s the text version instead. Aqua / Water / Eau, Glycerin, Homosalate, Octocrylene, Caprylyl Methicone, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Dimethicone, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Cetyl Peg/Ppg-10/1 Dimethicone, Niacinamide, Propanediol, Dimethicone/Peg-10/15 Crosspolymer, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Phenoxyethanol, Sodium Chloride, Butylene Glycol, Trimethylsiloxysilicate, Disteardimonium Hectorite, Disodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Parfum / Fragrance, Chlorphenesin, Caprylyl Glycol, Snail Secretion Filtrate, Silica Silylate, Trisodium Ethylenediamine Disuccinate, Limonene, Simethicone, Maltodextrin, Aluminum Hydroxide, Adenosine, Ethyl Hexanediol, Dipropylene Glycol, Sodium Hyaluronate, Citral, Linalool, Sodium Citrate, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Tocopherol. A bestselling, award-winning, full-coverage, color-correcting cream with antiaging skin care and SPF 50+ protectionThe only other CC Cream that’s impressed me is the one from Bourjois. So, if you are on a budget, consider that one instead. This one, albeit a good product, is pretty pricey. There isn’t very much difference in the before and after photos is there? Coverage isn’t high enough to cover up dark spots, but it is enough to even out the complexion and to make it look a touch better and brighter. As it says on the tube, it is my skin, but better. In terms of fine lines and wrinkles, it doesn’t sink in to them at all, which I found most impressive. I think this will work really well for mature skin types. It Cosmetics typically use a physical SPF of 50 in their CC creams, however, Nude Glow uses a chemical sunscreen of 40, for it’s clear quality. CONS: Quite pricey, Shade selection is rather limited and differences in shades are quite significant
