The Batman: The Animated Series action figures did so well for DC Collectibles that they released more figures in 2016. In January they unveiled a small grouping of figures, which included Robin and the Joker. These two would mark the last of the figures that have been currently released through DC Collectibles, but there are still many more figures to come. Bruce Wayne: Imagining Bruce Wayne donning his Batman costume only for it to be this super bulky outfit makes me laugh. The fact that the boots and leggings are the same color, so it looks like he’s wearing jammies, makes it all the funnier. The first Batman Beyond action figure line made a similar mistake to The Batman Animated series toy lines. Their figures showcased many different versions of Batman Beyond, but didn’t include many of the other characters from the series. The first set included designs like Manta Racer Batman, Lightning Storm Batman, Thunderwhip Batman, and Hydro Force Batman.
The first movie that he remembers being a passionate fan of was the first Toy Story movie. This led to a love of animated movies and television series. In addition to classic Disney animation and the Looney Tunes shorts, Adam is also a big fan of animation from the 1990s. This includes TV shows like Tiny Toon Adventures, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Goof Troop. He is also a big fan of shows like The Simpsons and Futurama. All three current seasons available for streaming on Max, new season four episodes every Thursday on Max Hasbro also released figures for the direct to video Batman Beyond movie, Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. The figures included in this set were Golden Armor Batman, Gotham Defender Batman, Gotham Knight Batman, Rapid Switch Bruce Wayne and Arkham Assault Joker. Anti-Freeze Batman: One of those figures I always think of when I think of this line, as I remember seeing it all the time in stores. Never owned it, but I’m nonetheless very familiar with it. The fact that it kind of looks like what the concept is selling helps, with white evoking “freeze” and the red piping potentially being used for generating heat.
When two shots rang out, Bruce Wayne’s life changed forever. He pledged himself to justice and he has upheld that oath for years. Wearing many names—the Dark Knight, the World’s Greatest Detective, the Caped Crusader—he has battled tragic foes like The Joker, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, and so many more. But deep inside, he knows that he shares something with them that most of humanity wouldn’t understand—a commitment to the fight. Bruce Wayne’s Car: If this were a Hot Wheel or something, I might like it more. As part of a line with much more interesting vehicles and characters, it’s just kind of bland.
The Joker: Genuinely love the gas mask, and the gun that squirts water is a nice touch. Something about this just seems a bit plain and uninspired, though, even if I can’t quite put my finger on it.

The company then created a set to coincide with the animated movie Batman: Mask of the Phantasm. At that point though, it felt as if the overall toy line was starting to lose steam as the company was using basically the same mold for many of their Batman: The Animated Series figures especially when it came to the principal character, Batman.
Adam also loves DC and Marvel superheroes, thanks to TV shows like Batman: The Animated Seriesand Spider-Man: The Animated Series in the 1990s. In addition to animated superheroes, he is a big fan of Tim Burton’s Batman, Smallville, the Arrowverse, and the Marvel movies. Adam is also a huge comic book fan of all eras, from the golden and silver ages, to DC's New 52 and Marvel's Ultimate Universe. Clayface: Ol’ Matt Hagen here is big, lumpy, and kind of gross, as he should be. Excellent sculpt, and the firing mace hand is just flat-out awesome. While as a kid we would understandably gravitate more toward the hero figures, I think as adults we can appreciate a truly well-made villain all the more. Especially when it’s as cool as Clayface here. Batcycle: Great design, and I’m pretty sure it has pull-and-release action. That’s much better than a ripcord. No other notes.Ice Hammer: None of these vehicles are awful, so this particular list goes from “good” to “great.” I’d gladly take an Ice Hammer vehicle any day without hesitation, but would prefer the other 13 just a bit more.

Super Mario Sunshine, The Last of Us Part 1 and 2, and Batman: Arkham City are some of his favorites. Music plays a big part in his life as well. Given that Shane's a big horror fan, you might be surprised to learn that he's a pop guy. Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Dua Lipa, The Jonas Brothers, and Demi Lovato play on repeat while he's writing.

Batman figure is based on the iconic style of Batman the Animated Series designed with sweeping cape Combat Belt Batman: The top three are going to be practically interchangeable. This Batman has a perfect suit, tons of cool accessories, and a clean, classic paint job. I honestly can’t think of a single thing I’d change. As for Templeton, he just feels “elated…honored…thrilled. All of the good words.” As he explains, “I’m so happy to be any part of this wonderful franchise and all the great moments it’s brought fans.” Batcycle: Usually I think miniature motorcycle figures are weird, because they look strange without a rider. The Batcycle design is so sleek that it doesn’t really matter, though, so this looks cool.
