The Tommee Tippee plain white filter and blue/white filters are compatible with both Perfect Prep machines. The perfect Prep™ can detect limescale build up, notifying you when it needs descaling. The descaling process will remove deposits of calcium and other minerals in the system that may affect its performance. A red descale warning light will illuminate when the unit requires descaling soon. If the red light flashes, you should descale immediately. For added convenience there is no need to use bottled, filtered or pre-boiled water in the Perfect Prep machine. Our filter features a filtration membrane designed to remove bacteria, impurities and contaminants that can be found in water. Water passes through an antibacterial filter to ensure it is clean and safe just like boiled water from a kettle.

Anti-Bacterial Filter: The Perfect Prep anti-bacterial filter is designed for use with water straight from the tap and ensures that the water is clean and safe to make a bottle feed At this time the lid, hopper and bottle stand should also be cleaned using hot soapy water, rinsed thoroughly, and allowed to dry naturally (do not use cloths or tea towels to dry). A red warning light on your perfect prep machine will indicate when the filter needs to be replaced; please change the filter as soon as this is indicated for your child's safety and health. This product is intended to filter drinking water only. Do not put water of unknown quality into this product. Small particles of carbon may be in the bag or on the surface of your filter. These dust particles are harmless and will be reduced during the initial set up process when submerging in clean fresh water. Pour 1 litre of clear/white (food grade) vinegar into the water tank. Top up the water tank to the max line with freshly boiled water and place a suitable container under the dispenser spout. Press the descale button for 2 seconds and the system will run a descale process. During the descale process the red descale light will continue to flash.
