Another issue I had was that combat can be a bit swingy. As previously mentioned, you cannot win the game by killing every monster on the board. Like a precise assassin, you must choose your targets and only kill those monsters that are impeding your objective. But, like most games with dice, a series of bad dice rolls can really be detrimental (monsters have a base combat bonus that the heroes do not begin the game with). This is by no means game breaking, but it can be frustrating when so much of the game is based on precise planning. Games can be played between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on the number of players and which legend is being played. Play the award-winning board game solo and take your group of heroes on exciting adventures anywhere, anytime. The Legends of Andor: The King’s Secret provides an easy introduction with simple rules and an extensive tutorial, and offers Andor fans and beginners alike a challenging gaming experience. We’ve tried all the troubleshooting steps and the program still crashes at the start of the first tutorial game. We have ipad 3 with IOS 9.3.5. I’d be happy to change our review after the game is fixed.

This makes Andor different from most other games. You can generally charge around killing monsters willy-nilly in other fantasy games. If you thoroughly enjoy this willy-nilly killing frenzy and you’d miss it if it was absent then Andor is probably not for you. Everything is a lot more measured in Andor. You have to be precise about which creatures to kill. And there’s the crux of the game: it’s not a combat game, it’s a puzzle game. update we’ve discovered that the game only works while on WiFi. Im not sure if thats intentional. It would be nice if it was playable while we were out and about. ** Like the title says. We cant start the game without crashing. It loaded the first time but never again sense. We’ve reinstalled it. Hopefully a future update with fix this as the game was promising. & Im a huge fan of the physical board game. If it matters; Im on an iPhone X iOS 12.1.4. Ok, we admit that Im not the best person to talk about these kinda games, we dont play as much as other people. But let us tell you that this game is fantastic. The story is compelling, giving more context in every completed quest. The board comes alive with standing pieces and unlimited actions. Strategists and fantasy enthusiasts alike will love the complexity of this game, you will always be contemplating and scheming your way to victory. This board game turned virtual is a storytelling and RPG marvel, we would strongly recommend this game.The large cards – These cards are tarot sized and provide the instructions, scenario rules and changes as the story progresses as well as thematic story and flavor for the five scenarios. They are intuitive, explain the gameplay and rules well and several of them are illustrated.

Fight – If a creature is in the same space as a hero, the hero can engage the creature. One round of combat equals one hour. The best digital board game in our opinion plays just like the table top and we were glad to see the legends are different also, loving this game! Loaded fine, tutorial fine Tried to actually play a game, cant get past select equipment screen. Tried all buttons,options. Im having a lot of fun playing. It could use a few UI tweaks. We dont think you can undo, even things like moving that could be undone easily. We havent figured out how to trade items (if it is possible). But still a 5 star game!The only thing missing from the original board game is the cardboard. The UI is smooth and intuitive. A very faithful re-implementation of the board game. The game board – The board is gorgeous. It is double-sided and both sides are beautiful. I had the game out and a non-gaming friend of mine saw it and commented how cool it looked. That being said, it does have one issue (see below) The components for Legends of Andor were really good, with a couple of exceptions: All of the components in Legends of Andor are of high quality… with the exception of the numbers on the board.
