For external use only Purified Water, White Soft Paraffin 14.5% w/w, Liquid Paraffin 12.6% w/w, Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Monostearate, Sodium Cetostearyl Sulfate, Lanolin, Citric Acid Monohydrate, Carbomer, Sodium Hydroxide, Sodium Methyl Hydroxybenzoate, Sodium Propyl Hydroxybenzoate, BHT. Indications: Liquid Paraffin 65% w/w, Acetylated Wool Alcohols, Isopropyl Myristate and C12- C13 Pareth-3. Indications: Emollients are best applied after washing your hands, taking a bath or showering because this is when the skin most needs moisture. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. This includes any possible side effects not listed in this leaflet. Children under 1: Seek HCP advice before use. Adults: Add 20ml to a standard bath of warm water (8 inches deep). Infants and Children: Add 5ml to a small bath (25 litres) or washbasin of warm water. Immerse and cover the affected areas and soak for 10-20 minutes. Alternatively, gently sponge over the affected areas repeatedly. Pat dry with a towel. Date of preparation: Soya Bean Oil 83% w/w, Comperlan (Oleic Acid Diethanolamide), Macrogol Lauryl Ether (Laureth-4), Perfume, Propylene Glycol, Butylated Hydroxytoluene. Indications: Your doctor or pharmacist will talk to you about which type of emollient will work best for your skin condition. If you experience any of these symptoms, talk to a GP, nurse or pharmacist. Safety advice when using emollients Fire safety It's a good idea to protect babies' hands and cheeks with an emollient before mealtimes to stop them getting sore from food and drink.Zerobase® Cream softens, moisturises and protects the skin. It relieves the symptoms of red, inflamed, damaged, dry or chapped skin and as an emollient protects raw areas of skin. If you have eczema the creamcan also be applied before a bath to stop the skin drying further.

A barrier cream that moisturises and protects intact, irritated or inflamed skin for use in the management of incontinence associated dermatitis. It prevents irritation from bodily fluids and acts as a barrier to urine, faeces and exudate. It is suitable for use with incontinence pads. Emollients are moisturising treatments applied directly to the skin to soothe and hydrate it. They cover the skin with a protective film to trap in moisture. They will tell you what to do. Precautions: Zeroderm Ointment is a rich emollient used to moisture and soften dry skin in eczema, dry cases of psoriasis and other dry skin conditions. It is suitable for all ages and may also be used as a skin cleanser or bath additive. Adverse reactions: For use as a barrier and moisturiser for the symptomatic relief of dermatitis, ichthyosis, eczema, nappy rash, protection of dry skin areas, pruritus and related skin conditions where dry scaly skin is a problem. It can be used as a pre-bathing emollient or as an alternative to soap to alleviate drying effects. Adverse reactions:

How to use emollients How to use emollients on your skin Use a clean spoon or spatula to remove emollients from a pot or tub. This reduces the risk of infections from contaminated pots. Indications: Purified Water, Propylene Glycol, Light Liquid Paraffin 8% w/w, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Monostearate, Polysorbate 40, Soya Bean Oil, White Soft Paraffin 4% w/w, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Sorbic Acid. Indications: They can be used to replace lost moisture whenever your skin feels dry or tight. They're very safe and you cannot overuse them.
