About this deal

There are a limited number of medical conditions (such as being a chronic carrier of Hepatitis B) that may affect your ability to register as a midwife with the NMC and your freedom to practice in certain clinical situations on health and safety grounds. Every person who qualifies as a midwife must then register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). This is a necessity if you want to practice as a midwife within the UK.
