The Scorpius rex is armed with a potent and formidable weapon, comprising venomous spikes that are strategically positioned on its tail. The venomous appendages possessed by these ancient reptiles possess the capacity to cause considerable damage, potentially resulting in the extinction of other dinosaur species. As an illustration, upon sighting a solitary stinger on a Sinoceratops, it exhibited signs of lethargy and debilitation, despite successfully eliminating the stinger autonomously. This circumstance potentially suggests the existence of numerous stingers. Furthermore, the existence of three stingers on Sammy's body led to an almost fatal predicament until the appropriate anti-venom was promptly provided. The presence of various injuries on the Brachiosaurus, together with its manifestation of disorientation prior to its collapse, suggests the possibility of multiple stings. This implies that the dinosaur might have been incapacitated or even fatally affected by the venom. The Scorpios rexes are the only hybrids without any confirmed sex. The Indominus rex is female and the Indoraptor is male. E750 is implicitly female, as parthenogenic organisms tend to be female by default and produce genetically identical female offspring, though the ability of InGen dinosaurs to change their sex leaves this up in the air. When Brooklynn breaks into Henry Wu's lab and searches through his computer, she finds a folder labeled "E750 Clinical Trial Results". In the mobile game, it also appears to be bigger than its portrayal in Camp Cretaceous. The Scorpios rex is the only Doctor Wu hybrid in the franchise who isn’t known to have killed a human, although it has killed the most dinosaurs. Against common belief, the Scorpios rex is not named after the Skorpiovenator or any kind of scorpion at all. Its quills and name come from the scorpionfish. The Scorpios rex's design and some of its poses are reminiscent to the human-dinosaur hybrids that were going to be in Jurassic Park IV, but the idea was scrapped.

Regardless, it's officially Scorpios rex, not Scorpius rex. A Compsognathus ripped through a cable which contributed to keeping the Scorpios rex frozen, allowing the hybrid to break free and roam the island.
