February 18: Jasmin Larian posts teasers of an upcoming Bratz x Cult Gaia doll collab. Plans for a new Bratz series is confirmed via an MGA Entertainment job listing.

The year is almost over and not many more releases are expected to come from the Bratz brand this year. You can keep up-to-date with all the latest and upcoming Bratz releases with the Bratz 2023 Masterpost! Till then… Note: Yasmin, Cloe, and Jade were released as part of a first wave, while Sasha, Meygan, and Eitan were released as part of a second wave. There has been no indication that a new Bratz movie will be coming out. Why is Series 3 being lauded as one of the biggest doll releases this season? Well, if you didn’t already know, MGA has been slowly reproducing and reintroducing beloved characters from the Bratz brand with their “Core Series” line since 2021’s 20 Yearz Special Edition collection consisting of the core four Bratz girls and Cameron in their debut fashion looks. The following year, fans were surprised to see reproductions of five secondary characters (Meygan, Kiana, Kumi, Nevra, and Dylan) from the brand’s prime years with the Series 2 collection. Now, almost nine months later, MGA has officially released their Series 3 lineup—Dana, Felicia, Tiana, Fianna, and Koby! Also, make sure to keep up-to-date with all the latest and upcoming Bratz releases with the Bratz 2023 Masterpost! Style It! Dana (2003) (It has to be her, it is her own standout release. I know there is Funk 'N' Glow and Formal Funk before this, but I just don't really see them rereleasing those Danas, and they probably will repro those lines in the future. I also know that her first actual appearance was in 2002, Stylin' Salon 'N' Spa, but her appearance was generic and I just don't think they would use her as it wouldn't make sense, or line up with the other Series One and Series Two releases, so it has to be Style It. I could be wrong, but it's just my thoughts. Fashion designer Jules holds a contest between Bratz and Your Thing magazine to decide who he will give an advertising account to. But when his kids Ashton and Ashley's nanny suddenly leaves, the kids have nowhere to go. Jules has the Bratz take them in, using the account as an incentive. The children turn out be serious brats, antagonising the Bratz and causing chaos in the office. Burdine sends Kirstee and Kaycee to try to bring Jules' kids to them so they win the ad.

June 16: The Bratz Minis and Bratz Mini Cosmetics are officially announced. The Bratz x JimmyPaul clothing collection is officially released. There are no details or description for this collection yet, nor has a designer been revealed. Each listing is titled “TBD” meaning “to be determined”. All that is known is that the dolls will come with two outfits, two pairs of shoes, accessories, and a dress form with stand. Byron confesses to the girls that he is an undercover spy, investigating a case involving poisoned super-models in Paris. The girls go through training and begin to argue over who Byron will select to go on the mission. June 22: The first set of Bratz Minis and Bratz Mini Cosmetics are found at a Target store in Florida.
