This hardened team will make short work of the average Storm Trooper, and our playtest featured a wookie warrior that was able to carve through their ranks like butter (all while shrugging off blaster fire like a furry Terminator). How you feel about Dobble Star Wars will ultimately come down to how obsessive you and your group are about the sci-fi franchise.
Each of the 52 cards has eight different symbols on it, and between any two cards there is always exactly one matching symbol. Star Wars: Legion boasts many qualities found in similar hobby games (such as making, painting, and creating your own armies), but it lacks the intimidating depth of those rivals. The pressure is on as everyone plays simultaneously, and players can use their cards to block other teams before they connect! Since the launch of the original game there have been several different variations and themes released. There are five mini-games included, two of which are especially designed for this children's version of Dobble.In Dobble Star Wars, players compete with each other to find the matching Star Wars themed symbol between one card and another. Whilst there are variations on the rules included in the box, the basic game is deceptively simple; two cards are placed on the table, and the player that spots the matching symbols first gets to take them. Dobble is a quick to learn, easy to play card game where players have to find the matching image as quickly as they can!

Playing Dobble is like trying to play snap after eating a particularly sugar laden cake washed down with 10 espressos. For those who love a sneaky and ruthlessly competitive game, the best style of play is where you have to dump your card onto someone else’s when you find a match. Dobble is the kind of game where you can build up a collection of different editions, which are all equally fun to play and, as board games go, relatively inexpensive.
I’d thoroughly recommend playing a few rounds of each style when you play as everyone seems to have one that they’re best at.On paper the game is just a jacked up version of snap but its far more manic and quick thinking than that.
The Star Wars version provides all the same fun as the classic, but with the addition of lightsabers and androids- what more could you ask for? Dobble Chrono includes the original Dobble tin with 55 cards and a two-function timer, bringing you three new multiplayer game variants, plus two solo training variants!
Play until all the cards in the middle have been claimed, and the player with the most cards in their personal pile is the winner. Outer Rim shakes things up by sidestepping the war between Rebels and Empire; rather, it's about getting famous. Dobble Star Wars is a speedy observation game where players race to match the identical Star Wars themed symbol between cards.
