Following on from the success of it’s temporary retail space in Buchannan Galleries last Christmas, the new pop-up will be open 10am to 6pm seven days a week, staffed by the distillery’s spirit experts to help customers choose the perfect festive gift. The world famous expensive “Blue Label” comes with over 25 limited editions till date. You can occasionally find them in flash sales. There is also the “Johnnie Walker Swing” which comes with specialised malt blends in unique odd bottom bottles. Granted, they’re not the most typical Christmas colours, but the sparkly design got us feeling fancy, with the writing on the side wishing us a “Merry Gin-Mas”, plus a little pun reminding us to “get into the Christmas spirit”, which we enjoyed. It is obvious that the quality of liquor and presentation made Johnnie Walker stand at the top by itself. The purity of chosen blends of scotch liquors made it taste magnificent and silk smooth. The added oaken flavors for preserving in pure oak containers made it classy.

The gin is made with thirteen specially selected botanicals inspired by the Isle of Mull including juniper, elderflower, and sweet orange peel as well as a splash of new make spirit from the distillery’s whisky stills.
