About this deal

Mattress filling meets the relevant ignitability test of the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 as amended.

Moses baskets are usually suited to babies from newborn up to the age of four months old. However, it's worth noting the weight limit of your Moses basket, as some babies can exceed the limit before, and some are also suited to babies up to six months old. Moses baskets can be pretty versatile. You can have one for your baby in your bedroom or even for the room you spend the most time in during the day. Most Moses baskets also come with handles so that they can be easily moved too. Will you take it away overnight? Dimensions: 75 x 28 x 24cm | Material: Palm | What’s included: Mattress, liner, coverlet, hood What we love For a classic, high-quality palm Moses basket at a reasonable price, this one from Mumsnetter’s favourite Clair de Lune is hard to beat. Many don’t like the prospect of scratchy palm fibres next to their babies skin, and this Moses basket comes with a breathable cotton liner to protect those delicate newborn elbows. Baby sleep experts the Lullaby Trust say, “The safest place for a baby to sleep is in their own clear, flat, separate sleep space, such as a cot or Moses basket.”As the days and weeks went by, she grew into the basket seamlessly. The size of the basket allowed her to stretch out her arms and legs (which I'm a huge fan of!) as she got bigger without her waking or being uncomfortable. Some mums prefer their babies to sleep in a cot from day one, as it means not having to make the transition from a bedside crib to a cot later on. Others think their tiny newborn might feel rather lost in the vastness of a cot and prefer a cosier cocoon for the first few months. If that's you, or if you can't fit a cot in your bedroom, then a Moses basket is the answer. Would a bedside crib be better? We had a Moba, which my daughter loved. We carried it up and downstairs and she was in it until she was about 7 months. I think the company has been sold and they are called something else now." (Tried and tested by Mumsnet user BoudicasBoudoir) A modern take on traditional Moses baskets, our SnuzBaskit is at home in any space. With its versatile appearance, multiple colour options and washable basket liners (available separately) you can match your SnuzBaskit to your bedroom and nursery style, while keeping your baby’s comfort at the top of your priorities. Designed For Safe Sleep

The Snüzpouch is made entirely from 100% cotton, so it's naturally breathable as well as super soft and comfortable. The zip shield prevents your baby getting scratched during the night. Is the Snüzpouch good value for money? Your baby should sleep in a cot or crib in the same room as you for the first six months of their life, however, if you don't have the space for a big cot in your room, the best Moses baskets are a great alternative. There's a choice of gorgeous patterns which match the Snüz bedding range, as well as different tog weights to choose from, depending on the time of year. Snüz is great at coming up with beautiful designs that appeal to everyone. From geometric shapes to chevrons to cloud and wave designs, the bags looks very simple but very stylish. They also have bags that are just one solid colour, with a stylish, colourful zip. How does the Snüzpouch feel? Our unique mesh window design means that the SnuzBaskit offers both visibility and enhanced airflow to help your baby sleep comfortably. With air flow holes in the base and the use of breathable materials, this modern basket has safety at its core. Included is a breathable 3D mesh mattress, helping regulate temperature, while providing comfort and that all important firm, flat sleep surface. Keeping Baby Close ByThe SnuzBaskit’s design maximises airflow and breathability for the safety and comfort of your baby. Its unique mesh window design means that the SnuzBaskit offers both visibility and enhanced airflow to help your baby sleep comfortably. The sleeping bag also scored well on the Mumsnet Baby Wrangling Test, during which our tester tried to get her baby into the sleeping bag mid-pre-bedtime scream. The Snüzpouch has little poppers on the shoulders so it’s easy to get your baby in and out of (even taking into account flailing limbs). There is also poppers under the arms which means it adjusts to fit your baby perfectly, so the sleeping bag grows with them and stops them from falling into the bag. How does the Snüzpouch sleeping bag look? Clair de lune and still going strong 2 kids and lots of visiting babies later!” Tried and tested by Mumsnet user Starsinyourpies) Our verdict The Snüzpouch lets you change your baby WHILE HE IS STILL ASLEEP. Our tester was over the moon when she came across the innovative circular zip which is over the nappy area. You simply zip it open (you don’t even need to take the baby’s legs out of the bag) and do the change with no disturbance at all, keeping your little one snug and safe all night long. Our tester’s baby often screams and shouts when his nappy is changed, but remained blissfully unaware of the event in the Snüzpouch and didn’t wake up once. Now if that isn’t an innovative idea, we don’t know what is.

Mattress filling meets the relevant ignitability test of the UK Furniture and Furnishings (Fire) (Safety) Regulations 1988 as amended. The main advantage of a Moses basket over a bedside crib or baby cot bed is portability – a Moses basket has handles on either side of the bassinet, so you can easily carry it with you from room to room when your baby is napping. If you'd rather your baby always nap in your bedroom, then a bedside crib may be a better choice. Moses baskets are generally a more affordable option too. When do babies outgrow Moses baskets? 4. Best rocking Moses basket - Shnuggle Dreami

Moses baskets are great to have next to your bed and also as a portable option to move downstairs during daytime. You should never move a Moses basket with your baby inside though. You should share a room with your little one for the first six months. But, to avoid having to move a Moses basket every morning and night, Jenna suggests: "You can have a Moses basket in the lounge or kitchen for when you're downstairs and a permanent cot in your room for your little one." Basket: Surface clean only. Clean with a warm, slightly damp cloth. Do not use abrasives or harsh detergents. Allow to air dry away from sunlight, ensuring the basket is completely dry before use. The actual Moses basket we used upstairs was a shnuggle one which isn't a "next to me" but is bigger than a standard Moses basket. Also just to note my DC still fits in the Shnuggle at 9 months."
