I found the nose a bit more difficult to do so I used tissue paper instead to sculpt the nose as this was a little more intricate. Once everything was in place I gave the whole costume 2 more layers of paper mache but using white tissue paper - this meant my costume only needed one layer of spray paint to stop the newsprint from showing through. this is awesome! you are my hero! I took Slimer out for a night on the town on Halloween and despite all the poking and prodding from people loving the costume he arrived home in one piece - I was very surprised myself!Now that the body of SLIMER was pretty much formed, I knew painting directly on foam would give him a very dull, lifeless finish that I did not want, so I decided to completely cover all parts of him in silicone.
