About this deal

I love anything that has a lighthouse in it and strange happenings surrounding one is an added bonus. When Kevin Tucker lost his wife, his daughter Amy lost not only a loving mom, but also a dear friend. Picasso’s sizable oeuvre grew to include over 20,000 paintings, prints, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, theater sets, and costume designs. As they spend time together strange things happen – eg Amy’s father goes missing, the lighthouse starts to shine for the first time in decades – and the two help to heal each other, even if they don't realize it.

This beauty here has permeated every fiber and bone inside me, at a time in my life in which I let nothing into my heart anymore, this story and these characters crashed right through.

I know there are online systems for this - I tried Scrivener, with its skeuomorphic cork boards, and it seemed so complicated that the system got in the way of the writing. To give a vague idea about what I mean without quoting the actual book, most of the dialogue was similar to things like "Oh, I'm so glad you did that! Amy meets Ryan in the most bizarre way, but its like the universe is pulling the two of them together.

oil on canvas, signed with monogram lower right and signed and titled on the reverse of the stretcher, 90. Amy's Dad is a detective with the criminal investigation unit with the Oregon state police has to go away for a couple of days to finalize a case and he takes Amy with him. Readers who follow its mysterious light will be rewarded with intriguing twists and lovable characters. I’ll admit at the beginning, I was having doubts about the book because I felt the pace of the storyline wasn’t hooking me in as quickly as I’d hoped.Try imagining a tennis ball flying slowly through the air; and then stand outside yourself and count how many dimensions your brain is really tracking, it isn't 4, it resolves X,Y and Z into a 2D path plotted over dimension 't'. Originating from a short story he created as a child, the result of Parker’s decade long mission to produce the book has come to fruition. There were surprising twists in the book that took the plot to places I wasn't initially expecting, and it did a good job making me want to turn the pages to find out what happens next. I desperately want to go back, unfortunately I’m sadly aware that, this is fiction and eventually I’ll have to move on to enter the pages of another story. This book has a lot of loss and grief, with the ultimate message that while the living keeps on going, that doesn't mean you lose the connection with those you love.
