About this deal

Comments: Hands down the best fluoro on the market for a great price. i have the 10lb and the 17lb and theyre both awesome Seaguar Inshore is one of Seaguar's newer saltwater fluorocarbon offerings. It was specifically designed for shallow water inshore saltwater fisheries and excels at fishing in areas like grass flats, skinny water marshes, and surf fishing from the beach or jetties. seo_url" : "https://www.basspro.com/shop/ProductDisplay?urlRequestType=Base&catalogId=3074457345616676768&categoryId=10879&productId=104587&urlLangId=-1&langId=-1&top_category=&parent_category_rn=&storeId=715838534",

If you are fishing in open water, go with Invizx. This line is more abrasion-resistant, so it’s less likely to break on rough surfaces. Additionally, its higher breaking strength means that you can land bigger fish. Today, Seaguar offers an impressive line-up of fluorocarbon fishing mainlines and leaders, with designs covering both freshwater and saltwater fisheries and a wide range of species, from tiny panfish all the way up to big game predators like muskie and blue fin tuna. But with such an impressive and diverse line-up, sometimes even experienced anglers can have difficulty figuring out which line is best for them. In this line guide we breakdown the various fluorocarbon products Seaguar manufactures and their optimal use and applications. Fluorocarbon Mainline Comments:The only good aspect of this line is the knot strength. Manageability, memory, knotting up, etc is all TERRIBLE.. even straight off the roll.. 0/10 would NEVER buy another seaguar product.. even with line conditioner this is the WORST flourocarbon I have ever used in my 15 years of fishing.

Comments: Truly some of the best line for the price. Never really have any problem with the line, especially if you use line conditioner. As a college angler, this is truly your best option with price, quality and durability. Double Structure Technology - Our TATSU line, Gold Label, Blue Label (FC) and Fluoro Premier leaders are all Double Structure, a Seaguar exclusive process that injects two different molten resins through a special die. The resins are extruded as one solid piece. The harder, inside resin contributes to the Tensile Strength, while the softer, outside resin creates greater Knot Strength. I want to change my line pretty often, but I also believe when I use Tatsu, I can get a lot more uses out of it before I start having issues. That’s why I’m such a big fan. Same with InvizX only slightly more often with InvizX than with Tatsu. Comments:Used this in 12ib for my baitcaster and I am quite impressed. It's castable but a bit stiff. For the money as other have mentioned it's not bad. I have yet to have a break off or any unbearable birds nest on my casting reel. Give it a try.

The memory is terrible and when it does get a slight birds nest and you try to pull it out the line will snap within the spool due to it being complete garbage. Save your money and go get some P-Line! shoppingListJSMobile20767 == null Ande Fluorocarbon is my favorite type of leader to use for freshwater and saltwater fishing if the line is 50 pounds or under. It typically comes in red spools with clear lines. This is great leader material but the line diameter is much larger than other brands when looking at lines over 50 pounds. For example, 80-pound Ande is 1.00 mm while 80-pound Seaguar Premier is 0.78 mm. It performs well on my standard flies 14's to 10's but for larger lure type flies for fry bashers I thought I'd try something a bit stronger and larger in diameter, so I got Seaguar Fluorocarbon Softplus 8.2lb bs. Comments: I've used lots of different lines and I absolutely love it. Knots are easy to tie and casts really far!

if(typeof(shoppingListJS20767) == "undefined" If you’re using a braided line (or anything else really) as your main fishing line and want a leader line then Red Label is going to be a great option. If you want to use a fluorocarbon line as your main fishing line then you’d probably be better off with something like InvizX, AbrazX, or Tatsu. They’re more expensive but I think you’d get much more out of them. Make sure you moisten the knot as you pull it tight. You should have a smooth cinching feel as you pull it tight. I admit I didn't read the whole of the label but expected 8.2 lb bs to be a reasonably larger diameter than the 6lb bs. Comments:I don't know what some of these people talking about. I love this line. I run braid on everything n use his for leaders & never have problems. It's handles zebra mussels better then any pound braid. For knots I see a polymer, wet your knots & u will never have a problemThe Invizx is also a good choice, but it’s a bit more specialized. If you know what kind of fishing you want to do, and you’re sure that you’ll be doing a lot of it, then the Invizx may be a better choice. If you’re in the market for a fluorocarbon leader then I think there’s not much better than Seaguar Red Label. It’s not perfect by any means but it’s inexpensive and has always done the job for me. If you’re doing any sort of casting then I’d recommend you use Sufix 832 as your main line with a Red Label leader. Comments:Fantastic line. Thin in diameter, strong, and barely visible. Used this for trout and bass. I like that I can buy 10lb thats normally the diameter of 8lb or 8lb the diameter of 6lb and so on. This stuff is really strong, just use lighter drag for ligher lines Comments:I must be doing it wrong because I have no issues with this line... It's strong, works fine on the spool, good abrasion resistance, and great price!

Seaguar also boasts that Blue Label has such an efficient strength to diameter ratio that it allows anglers to use a lower pound test than they would have to with a nylon and co-polymer monofilament leader. Being able to use a thinner line with the same strength capabilities also contributes to a stealthier presentations and improved action of your bait or lure. All told, Blue Label is an excellent all around choice for saltwater fishing fluorocarbon leader material. Comments:I have been using the 12lb test on a Tatula for bass and striper in Central Cali all season and love it. Often when I get caught on a small log or rooted bush, I end up pulling the entire thing out of the water with literally no damage to the line itself. This is within reason of course. Pretty amazing for 12lb test, plus its cheap. As for people getting break offs, I have found that making a few short casts to "loosen" everything up and to get rid of any memory before launching my baits really helps to reduce potential birds nests. With that said, I fish free spool and have been extremely satisfied with its overall performance. Definitely recommended. I think because of it’s slightly lower length of durability and castability than some of the other Seaguar fluorocarbons, I like it for a few specific techniques. I really have liked it for a spinnerbait line. Typically I’m fishing spinnerbaits around grass and wood and not to rough conditions. I like it for some small swimbait stuff too. I’ve been doing really well with the 10 and 12 pound Basix fluorocarbon on small swimbaits and the 15-pound Basix on my spinnerbait rod.Comments:This line is great!! I tryed it because invizex In 12 & 15lb was out! I was skeptical because I've only ever used invizex... I've tryed a lot of different lines and kno some are complete junk! And it realy seams that the cheaper they are? The cheaper they are! NOT TRUE WITH THIS LINE.. red label is great!! I have more spools of seaguar laying around than any other brands and I am LOYAL2 them as a company!! Great line for price , and have never BROKE off!! And it's very usable !! WOULD RECOMMEND! You might not want a sinking line when tossing topwater lures to hungry bass since you want to stay on the surface. Mono is a better choice. Does using fluorocarbon leader matter? There are other fluorocarbon fishing lines that perform equally well, but cost more or offer different specialties. I’ve included them in the list, with each earning a top spot of their own. Here are the 15 Best Fluorocarbon Lines:
