These novels, except for The Glass Room, have been dramatized in the television series Vera on ITV, which stars Brenda Blethyn in the title role. The programme premiered in May 2011. Finally, the first book of her Two Rivers series, The Long Call, also has a mini-series TV adaptation. The show, with the same title as the book, had four episodes air in 2021. There are currently no plans to adapt the second book in the series.
