Once its set up, the app offers an overview of the Versa 3's main features. The entire process only takes about 10 minutes. Charge Versa 3 for 12 minutes for 24 hours of battery life. Before testing, I had forgotten that the Versa 3 could measure my skin temperature, just like the more expensive Sense can. For example, I agree with Joe that the SpO2 sensor and watch face are great additions (it's actually my favorite watch face so far), but the fact that you can't access this information outside of that watch face, nor take a reading on-demand, is kind of a bummer.

Are there any downsides?

There are also differences when it comes to music. What sets Fitbit Versa 3 apart from Fitbit Versa 2 are some notable upgrades. The most notable is the built-in GPS in Fitbit Versa 3, opposed to connected GPS in Fitbit Versa 2. Built-in GPS is where it's at. You can use it during outdoor runs, rides, hikes, and workouts to see your pace and distance without your phone.
