By leaning into Weekend’s green profile in that way, I think you’d move from a solid 7 to an 8 or 9. That said, for the price Burberry weekend is a very competent fresh fragrance. If you spray this after you get out of the shower, you’ll keep that fresh and clean feeling with you all day – and that’s got to be considered a success for such an economical fragrance.If I was to make one tweak, it would be that it could differentiate itself from citrus summer fragrances entirely by swapping out the bright bergamot for some mint, for example.

The name might make you think of party playboys, but the truth is that Burberry’s Weekend smells like one of the most chilled-out Gents you know. It’s projection is a few feet from the skin, for most of the wear, so don’t expect folks to be able to smell you from across the room or anything.
