Septimus is an interesting character and pretty sure we're going to see more of him. But am not a fan of his name 🙈 Mische, is like Mor. The romance between Oraya and Raihn made me melt. I loved the progression of their relationship. How patient and understanding Raihn was. His need to protect her. Oraya is just as drawn to him, but she doesn’t offer her trust easily. The banter between them had me doing all the -ing’s — sway ing, sigh ing, pant ing, giggl ing, melt ing, and cherish ing. I made a section below to feature some of the quotes that had me swoon ing. Now, as the possibility of losing Ilana seemed suddenly far too tangible, fear clenched my heart and refused to relinquish it. I read it in one sitting, in one night, and loved it. But then there is Nyaxia, Atroxus, some guy’s name that reminds me of Salamander, Sivrinaj, Ministaer, Jesmine, Nessanyn, Cairis etc. It took me 10 minutes to look up all these names, cause I only remembered like the first two letters 💀💀 In a kingdom where love is deadlier than any weapon, Raihn might comprehend her like no other, but their growing attraction could spell her downfall.Perhaps I didn’t share his blood, but I was his child in every other sense of the word, and he loved me the only way he knew how.
