About this deal

crew wants to be an alpha male so bad…he’s 5 seconds away from turning into a werewolf. his obsession with wren is all centered around wanting to “corrupt” her…WHAT. The countdown is on - we are a month away from the release of 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙚𝙡𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚, coming April 19th! well! my longest review yet! WTF DID I JUST READ LIKEEEEE? this book was actually so sexist. and gross. they had no chemistry bc the dude literally just wanted to “corrupt her” and “take away her innocence”… #weird!!!!! i didn’t like any of the characters. only thing i liked was the inclusion of art throughout the story, but they made that weird too 😭 so basically i hated every aspect of it! West doesn’t make my time here easy. He’s arrogant. Crude. Insufferable. He torments me in the worst way, to the point that I can’t stand him. Yet he’s the only boy I’ve ever let touch me… But let me be clear - I loved this book because of Crew Lancaster. That man… I have no words. The way he was so respectful to her (most of the time), the way he was so freakin patient - literally everything about him! I was not expecting him to be that way and I was definitely surprised in the best possible way!

It’s been three years, four months, two days and a handful of hours since the first moment I set eyes on her. I genuinely thought I would hate this because of the way the first book turned out and Taz repeatedly telling me this book is shit💀 but I’m so glad I enjoyed this one.

Retailers:

anyone who knows me, knows i absolutely hate insta-lust. but here? i literally did not care. they didn't even have sex until like the 60-70% mark, and the build-up to it was perfect. they explored each other thoroughly instead of jumping straight to sex which i appreciated and showed how patient and thoughtful crew was. All the boys in this book are scum and cannot be redeemed. If the author had made that clear instead of making excuses, having them owning up to them… I would still have thrown the book into the fire but I would have not jumped in the remaining skeleton of it just to make sure it was completely destroyed. One more thing that I liked about the book was that there wasn’t the regular third act breakup structure we usually see. There were ups and downs throughout. It kept me entertained for sure. Includes never-before-seen bonus material, including a steamy and sweet scene of Crew and Wren celebrating Valentine's Day at Lancaster Prep.** in reality, you get the cringiest...no *creepiest* romance?? between our two main characters, wren and crew.

At Lancaster Prep, the girls love her. They all want to be her friend. Only I see Wren for who she really is. And that I'm sharing with you the LAST cover from the Callahan series! Sigh. I'm feeling nostalgic right now. I've been writing about this family and their friends since late 2019. They got me through the pandemic. They made me laugh, they made me cry, they made me swoon. And now, here we are with the final story - a very special novella called A CALLAThe booktalk will start the last day of each month ( new members who have read the book in the past are very welcome to join). Books that are recommended can not be older that 2 years. But this girl...she doesn’t feel pointless. She’s real and she’s beautiful and she fits perfectly when she’s in my arms. She makes me want to feel.” wren thought she would wait until marriage, but she starts to explore her own body and watches porn, all because crew intrigues her. i liked the slowness of this book, it allowed us to see how they progressed from kissing to touching to them falling deeply for each other. like i said there is no major plot for the characters, the major "conflict" point is wren's overprotective dad, who did not approve of their relationship. Lovely literature right there. Especially when he proceeds to call someone else a misogynist after a few chapters of related thoughts. Ladies and gentlemen we are stopping our usually broadcasted review to bring the news that Daughter of Paper and Stone is tired of trying to form coherent thoughts and is just going to leave very specific reactions to the horrific book up ahead. Be warned that some of the contents may make people implore with the outrage that she did as well.

Even the older girls, the upperclassmen, were drawn to her. Completely captivated by a seemingly innocent green-eyed girl who has barely spoken ten words to me in the entirety of her time here. it's a coming-of-age story, especially for our girl wren, who throughout this book goes on a journey of liberating herself sexually and breaking out of the box she has put herself in her whole life, and the boy, crew, who helps her accept herself. From the beginning all the way to the very end, this book had me hooked. I'll always be down to read the good girl x bad boy trope and this one did not miss. The thing I love most about this trope is the fact that these characters are more similar than they think. This applies to Wren and Crew as well. I love how Monica Murphy walks us through the character development between these two and that she wrote them in a way that tells us that they bring out the absolute best in each other.

Tracey wrote: "Thank you for the add! I LOVED One Week Girlfriend and Second Chance Boyfriend. Thank you for writing a strong female character, too, I loved how Fable cut through the BS and said how she felt." Steamy, romantic and totally addictive, this is a story that proves that true love really does happen when you least expect it . . . You see, West and I? We share a secret. On a hot summer night in Paris, we hooked up. And I never do that. Ever. I revealed parts of myself to him I’ve never shown anyone else. He’s seen me at my most vulnerable. I told him my secrets. And he told me his. In Paris, he was sexy. Protective. Even dare I say…sweet. After leaving Lancaster Prep, Spencer Donato has had to step up into his family business. getting his hands dirty for a while he is pleased to have been moved into a behind-the-scenes role. Attending his best friend’s wedding brings him face-to-face with Sylvie again after not seeing her since she finally gave up her virginity to him before promptly marrying an older man. Their relationship over the years had been up and down, Sylvie drawing him in before pushing him away time and time again. Hobbies

Wren Beaumont is a model student. Kind, clever and beautiful, she is loved by everyone at Lancaster Prep. Sometimes you just need a good drama filled, angsty teenage romance about a bunch of rich kids in a boarding school. Crew literally has me on a chokehold. The way he's so arrogant (rightly so), reassuring and just so devoted to his little 'birdy' makes me want to go Crew hunting—he's a romantic despite his protests. Not to mention, his skills in bed. Ya'll- you aren't ready for him. You think you are but trust me, you're not. As someone who had her butt grabbed and held on for the exact same reason that was… traumatizing to read… especially when the author made it seem like it was okay because she was into it… 💀💀💀). Wren was cute. I liked her growth in confidence but she was a bit stupid sometimes. I liked that she added the art aspect to it but didn’t make it her whole personality. The whole thing with her being a virgin and then losing it was basically the point of this book. It’s obviously gna be repeated a lot which I was prepared for, so it didn’t really annoy me.
