Triple Safety Feature. The kettle features what Bosch calls a triple safety feature. Firstly there is an automatic shut-off whereby the kettle will stop boiling once the water has reached the set temperature. Secondly is boil dry protection where the kettle will stop itself from boiling all the water inside away. Finally the kettle will automatically switch itself off when it is removed from its base. Durability and Maintenance Rapid Boil. This one is fairly self-explanatory. Rapid boil technology decreases waiting time which is especially advantageous when you boil a full kettle for a group of people. The Bosch TWK8633GB Styline Collection kettle appears, at least on the surface, to be durable. The components appear to be securely fastened to the main body of the kettle. The lid mechanism also seems to be well designed. As far as I can see there is nothing to suggest inferior quality.

The Bosch TWK8633GB kettle is cylindrical with plastic around the bottom and middle of the cylinder. The top of the cylinder is stainless steel. Its handle and lid are made out of plastic and its spout is made out of stainless steel. Overall Temperature Control. The kettle can heat water to four different temperatures, these being 70, 80, 90 and 100 degrees Celsius. In my opinion a cup of tea is better with water at a higher temperature whereas hot chocolate is better with water at a lower temperature. One-Touch Lid Opening. There is a button on the lid of the kettle which, when pressed, opens the lid. This feature is much more convenient that having to pull off the lid each time you want to fill the kettle. You could be even lazier and fill it up through the spout.
