Watford Palace Theatre is set to host the premiere of new musical show There’s a Monster in Your Show, based on the best-selling picture book by Tom Fletcher and Greg Abbott. Presented by MEI Theatrical, the production company behind successful stage adaptations such as T wirlywoos Live, Sarah and Duck, and The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, the show’s design is brought to life by Laura McEwen ( Oh, No George!Puffin is an imprint of Penguin Random House, the world’s number-one publisher representing a vibrant community of publishing houses marked by unparalleled success. We’ve re-named Puffin Virtually Live so that it’s easier for new teachers to discover it as part of Puffin Schools and to acknowledge that the show now premieres on show day, rather than being streamed live.

With its premiere scheduled for 12 October, the show has already confirmed performances at 43 venues across the UK, with more dates to be announced soon. Adapted for the stage by Zoe Bourn and directed by Miranda Larson, this 50-minute production is geared towards introducing young children to the magic of live theatre. Our mission is to inspire children to feel they can be and do anything, and to create readers for life.

Our list includes some of the world’s favourite authors, illustrators and licensed brands, such as Eric Carle, Helen Oxenbury, Nadia Shireen, The Snowman, Doctor Who, Roald Dahl, Tom Fletcher, Jeff Kinney, Rick Riordan, Robin Stevens, and Jacqueline Wilson to name but a few. Theatre is such an important way to introduce children to the arts, and There’s a Monster In Your Show is the perfect first theatre trip for pre-schoolers and their families.
