About this deal

Dellow Motors Ltd was launched by Ken Delingpole and Ron Lowe to produce rugged road-going sports cars for enthusiasts to use on trials, rallies and hillclimbs. They won numerous events in the late 1940s and early 1950s, including the Daily Express National Rally and the Circuit of Ireland Rally against strong opposition. Notable works drivers included future Grand Prix driver Peter Collins and future multiple hillclimb champion Tony Marsh. The Merlyn MK11A, with a Merlyn Chassis Plate Fitted (Number 224/FF/69) was i mported by Cedric Selzer from South Africa in the early 90's. It was then rebuilt by Marc Selzer and has seen v ery little use in Sprint events since. RPE Suzuki Hayabusa engine with MBE dry sump system. MBE 9A4 ECU controlling engine and XoomBox ECU to control air paddle flatshift, traction control, launch control and data logging. Very successful and reliable, the T65 has been campaigned continuously over the last 10 years, mainly in the FIA Lurani Championship where it won class E2 in 2014, 2015 and 2016. The T65 has raced at all the major Grand Prix Circuits and many other major events including Laguna Seca, Watkins Glen and the Vernasca Silver Flag. The T65 was invited to the Goodwood Revival in 2018 where it competed in the Chichester Cup.The car is for sale due to the owner's recent health issues and to allow Peter time to concentrate on his latest and, hopefully, less challenging project.
